Very easy install. The most difficult part is in ty-wrapping the module under the dash- because it's not easy squeezing down on rhe floorboard. Quick learning curve for operation. There are several videos online to help with install. I'd like to install a start-x on another vehicle when I'm able. They just work!

Not hard to install, though it's a little bit of a puzzle to route the extra cables so you can get the bottom cover reinstalled. This was on a 2015 Pilot. Ended up unplugging and rearranging the cables to get it put on again. Then there was the puzzle of where to mount the box under the dash where it won't interfere with anything. Still, once it's all in, it seems to work great.

Programming is a little tricky but otherwise installation was a breeze. Bought this one specifically because it was vehicle specific and I’m glad I did.

Vehicle specific videos, coupled with clear simple instructions made this install a breeze, 2011 Honda Pilot, only wish that you could boost the Honda's poor remote reception.

Easy install and works great.

Remote start would not program after install. I am very familiar with car electronics and have worked for several years as an install tech. I have tried several ways to program it. By the included instructions (to the letter) and the way some youtube videos showed it had to be done for them. It would not work at all. I contacted StartX. And the next day Josh C from StartX replied. He asked for a couple of videos of me programming and trying to start it. Then i didn't hear from him. I next emailed him for a follow-up. He said he will assist me when he can and get to my videos asap. I never heard back from Josh and i just returned the starter unit to Amazon. So my personal and honest experience with this StartX car starter is that it is not very good at all. And customer support is very slow to assist- if even existent.

Quick installation, works great!!

Following the video on YouTube, extremely easy to install. It took about 15 mins max to remove the steering wheel covering, install the wiring and hardware. Tested and it worked as advertised on my 2011 Honda pilot. If I knew how simple it was, I would have done this a long time ago. The biggest issue was getting issue was getting the covers back on the steering wheel, that took about 40 mins, didn't help that I did this in the afternoon when the sun was going down, so that added to the struggle. What mostly prevented a quick re-install was getting around steering wheel adjustment latch, but that is a vehicle design and nothing to do with the remote starter. However the key hole is not quite align, just have to work on it a bit more. Other than that, 3x to start, 3x to stop. After starting, place the key in the vehicle and it stays on. Would definitely recommend this product.

Plug a d play for sure. Plugs are direct fit with oem. Wire harness is will shielded and adequate length. Qr code link to installation vidio covers everything you need. Directions are clear inside the package. Easily installed in less than 30 minutes. No cutting, splicing , soldering, taping. Highly recommended. Installed on a 2011 Honda Pilot.

It was relatively easy to install, took me about an hour to install and saved me a bundle without adding an extra fob to my key chain. Great product

Took 15 minutes to install. Very easy for DIYer. Easy to operate. Only downside is that signal distance isn't far at all with OEM remote
