Second updated review. The camera has been very good since we bought it and has been a great piece of mind for my daughter so she can keep an eye on the horses. We had a problem after about 6 months with the camera charging. We went through the help offer by Xega and in the end it was believed to have developed a fault. They (Kiki) was very good and arranged a replacement camera to be sent out and it was received within 3 or 4 days. Very good after sales customer services. Original review The camera was pretty straight forward to set up. Was already charged and the SIMM card provided worked straight away. Once synchronised via the Mobile APP the camera has been fine. The camera picture quality is good. As the provided SIMM card worked well we took out the 12 month subscription. We had an issue when the the original SIMM card data had been used up and the next 12 months subscriped to. The SIMM card needed to come back out and I had to install a different SIMM card to start a network search. Once the original was then put back in the subscriped service has been working fine. The Solar charging is good and the battery power has remained although its not recording continuously. Overall its been very good and value for money, and the night vision has also been useful as the camera is looking after horses in a field.

Fantastic camera I’ve had a fair few tried and tested some of the more expensive range of cameras and by far these have been the best for picture quality, ease of installation and ease of use . If that doesn’t sell it to you then their customer service is amazing ! Never to much trouble and easy to speak with. I would never go back to Reolink as had nothing but problems with them in the weather but these have been up now for over two years and I haven’t had to touch them and in the ovation I did have an issue the customer service rectified it straight away ! We live in the middle of the mountains and the weather is particularly harsh but these cameras manage everything that’s thrown at them. They’ve never lost service and it’s spotty at best here. The built in cloud option is easy to manage and you have lots of options to use also resetting the sd card is easy to do through the app my father in his 60s and has Parkinson’s and he manages easily to use the app and cameras.

I'm so glad I made the right choice by getting this camera. Great value for money and motion detection is on point. The connectivity is also great and it works just as expected. Plus the customer service is also excellent. They were quick to resolve my concern and they sent me a free extra solar panel with an long extension cable that allows me to place the panel in a strategic position for direct sunlight. I really love this camera. The best for real!

Camera works well in good weather in the day and at night. View isn't always great in the wet weather but the camera isn't sheltered at all so works well considering, haven't had any issues with snow, frost, wet etc.. sometimes over sensitive to lorries passing in the main road but would rather that than not detecting any issues. Solar panel works well and camera is still fully charged a few months into daily use. Overall very happy with my purchase.

Edit 3. The camera and solar power through the winter where perfectly fine. It's been nearly 2 years and have caught 3 intruders onto my property. Police showed up on 1 occasion and I was able to listen to the conversation unknown to them. Imagine their suprise when I used the speaker to interrupt. Best money I've ever spent on a gadget. Edited Review. 2 So after a year and a much needed App update I dont actually have anyhting bad to say aboout the camera. If your in a situation where you dont have the internet this SIM option is perfect. But the tech support has been brilliant as well. I highly reccoment this camera. It seems a lot of the issue was with Vodafone. I changed carriers and since then any of the issues below have gone. Yes, there is the occasional connection delay, but in all it's been a much better experience. What I will say is how good the customer care has been. I have had the camera for a few weeks and I feel I am in a strong position to write a fair and accurate review. Its a mixed bag with a couple of deal breakers for me. The positives are there is a lot or really good things about this. If you are in a situation where there is no WiFi, then the SIM option is a great way round this, just go for a well known network in your area and not the SIM provided. Not only will you save heaps but you will get a stronger, more reliable connection. The camera itself is pretty decent, its zoom is still clear at quite a distance and the nigh-time camera is crystal clear. Even the voice works better than I was expecting, its not great, but people can hear and talk to you. The basic camera functions in the app are ok, not great, not good, just ok. Moving the camera about is a breeze, but that it as far as the positives. The motion detection, one of the most important part of the system, is quite frankly the weakest link. There is no point having a security camera that doest not come on where there are intruders. If the camera is anything above 3 meters, it is inconsistent, even set to high. Who puts a security camera lower than 3 meters where people can easily access it and break it? This for me was a fail for me. The detection should be good for 10m minimum, otherwise it's just a party piece and not fit for the job. You have to subscribe to get any video saves and accessed, and oh my god what a PITA this was to actually get to work. The app failed to process my transactions with PayPal. The only way I could get this to happen was link the phone to my PC and use the WEP option. Personally, the camera should be free is its going to be a subscription, and I would gladly pay more for a system that works well. You also have to give them a lot of your personal data, for what? Its a camera. So a lot of good things let down by poor movement detection and a terrible app. But this is one of the better option on the market, they just need to improve a couple of points and it would be perfect.

I was a bit sceptical at first as the price seemed very reasonable, however once it was up and running with the data plan active from the built in SIM (have to increase this as it has 30days trial only – fair enough) it’s brilliant. It powers itself so cable free and you can stick it anywhere with enough light and mobile signal. I’ve had mine up and running now since April and it’s been brilliant! I had to contact support initially to understand the dataplan and if I’d topped it up ok, and I had a prompt response from Kiki who was very helpful and confirmed it needed to activate. Once done no problem at all and I would recommend to anyone needing something in a more remote location or location with no power or Wifi.

I installed five of these cameras around a small residential building I manage, and I’m really pleased with the results. The video quality is excellent – crisp footage during the day and very clear night vision. Each camera covers a good amount of space, so with five units, we now have full coverage of all key areas: entrances, parking, and common walkways. Setup was surprisingly simple, and the mobile app makes it easy to monitor all the cameras in one place. Motion detection is accurate without being overly sensitive, which helps cut down on unnecessary alerts. The system gives both tenants and myself peace of mind knowing that everything is being monitored 24/7. Also, the build quality is solid – they’ve been running smoothly through all kinds of weather. For the price, functionality, and ease of use, I’d definitely recommend this setup for other small buildings.

Absolutely incredible. I never review products on Amazon; but this has stopped me in my tracks and I feel compelled to write this review. My cattle are 1/2 mile away from any electricity, wifi etc. I needed a camera that I didn’t have to charge, and that didn’t need wifi. The view on this camera is impressive, there’s no lag and I can move the camera around so easily and see my entire herd. The solar power portion works amazing, I haven’t had to intervene and do any manual charges. I will be buying 4 more for the other areas of my property, and my front gates. I’m speechless! This product is way underpriced comparing it to others on the market. Don’t hesitate to purchase this!

Great device with image and quality is also good and a better flexibility and very easy to use and had an issue with a Sim card but a Team Member "ANNA" sorted out within minutes and a great service from ANNA.

I have recently bought Xega 3G/4G LTE security camera and I must say that it is an excellent product. The quality of the picture is great as it takes very clear videos even in the dark. This camera is seamlessly integrated with solar panels and SIM card hence making it highly convenient and efficient. One of the most prominent aspects about this camera is how easy it is to install. This is actually the easiest surveillance which I have ever set up. Also, its battery life has been quite impressive; at no point in time has it ever gone below 98% due to its highly effective solar panel. I did face a few challenges with the motion detection feature though. However, the support team at Xega are excellent. Even went further to provide me with clear instructions plus their help on this matter including giving me a small update which enabled me to choose particular detection zones. Additionally, they gave me three more years’ warranty and one-year free cloud storage as gift for being loyal customer. They are by far the best customer service team I have ever come across because of their competence and friendliness. In general, for those who require reliable surveillance system that works efficiently, my choice would be Xega 3G/4G LTE camera’s device if you were to ask me about my recommendations because of its outstanding image quality, seamless solar integration, and awesome support teams that make them worth considering above all other products available in this category.

I've had issues with stolen materials on one of my construction sites and decided to opt into buying a relatively cheap camera recording system to monitor the work site. It's been great! Setup and Installation - The mechanics and assembly of the device is very straight forward. Securing the device onto a wall via mounting bracket is simple and intuitive. While the software setup was a bit confusing, product support was quick and responsive to my email. They had diagnosed the issue within 1 email thread. Operations and Maintenance - I had my doubts in regards to the solar panel and the device being in good battery health. However, the product met and passed my expectations. Since installing the product facing easternly in a non-shady area, the device never had any issues with power and was able to stay on throughout the day with ease. The motion detection feature works perfectly as there are settings that can allow me to change the sensitivity. The device will make an audible sound (this can be turned on or off) and my phone is notified whenever motion is detected; This is perfect for my use case so I can see who is coming onsite and offsite. Quality and Performance - The device is weighted and feels good quality; The casing of the device has been rained on multiple times and the device still operates normally. The camera recording quality is good enough to visually identify individuals. Nothing to complain here.

Facilité d’installation : on installe d'abord et aisément, la platine de support bien à l'horizontale ( un balcon en ce qui me concerne). Premier essai avec la carte sim livrée puis installation avec celle commandée chez l'opérateur historique avec 10 Gigas de data pour 6.99 € amplement suffisants puisqu'en 1 mois j'ai utilisé 500 méga en y jetant un coup d'oeil tous les jours 1 à 2 minutes. J'ai rajouté une carte SD de 128 Gigas que j'avais déjà et que la caméra a formaté. La fixation de la caméra est très facile avec ses vis plastifiées qu'il suffit de serrer un peu après la pose. Le panneau marche très bien et la caméra est toujours chargée (elle est plein sud dans les Alpes). Efficace et sensible (réglage moyen) quant à la détection. Le moteur 90° hauteur et 180 ° circulaire fonctionne bien. Bref je suis parfaitement satisfait de cet achat avec Kiki au SAV qui est réactive et à l'écoute.
