G4Free 10L Lightweight Packable Hiking Backpack, Nylon Daypack Daily Travel

Exactly what I needed, well constructed. Bought 4 of these with different colors for traveling for kids and myself. This was perfect for biking, touring around the city, hiking, and airplane travel as a personal item bag. The colors are very vibrant, and they held up well for our entire trip. Water bottles fit nicely and balance well in the bottom of the bag instead of weighing heavy on one side in the pockets. Mesh pockets are more convenient for smaller items. The rip-stop fabric pattern is really attractive. The lightweight material was perfect to keep us cool while wearing and was easy to hand wash during our trip and dry overnight, as with kids, it's inevitable that somebody is going to spill something in their bag. We had them in the rain and they dried quick. It's like a windbreaker material. You can tuck it into its own pocket to make a pouch to stash it in luggage if you don't want to carry it on your person later. I hand-washed them after our trip. After drying, they still look brand new. All the seams look tight and the color looks great. Exactly what I was hoping for. We will be using these for future adventures!

This is STILL the one! This little backpack is the absolute in lightweight durability. I always find a use for it. I travel with it, take it to the beach, and have been known to shop with it. I don't love the inner pocket separation in the main compartment, but I cannot think of how I would change it either. I do use those two compartments. And I love the little zipper pocket in the front, but wish it was a tad bit roomier. The straps are great, and the nylon, and zippers are great. I would like to see a lot more durable elastic for the net pockets on the side though. Overall, I just still love this little backpack; it's a keeper.

Used it for my trek to Roraima in Venezuela. Now that means 8 to 11hr walk a day for 3 days up and 2 days down, with sunny to stormy weather one second to the other, which means I had plenty of time to try this. PROS: - Cheap, number one reason I got it. - Color is the exact same as in the pictures and I love that - Side pockets are useful for stuff you need to keep in handy - The top cap serves as another compartment (I used it for my sleeping mat) which has another pocket (i used it for snacks to stay alive). - You can actually fit a lot in it, we had to travel light because well, obvious reasons above, so I had a lot of room to spare. CONS: - It's light rain resistant, but not for long. I got all my stuff wet with a light (but prolonged rain). Good thing we had overall a good weather and this was just my first rain, next day I but everything in a trash bag before placing it inside the bag. So it might give you time to look for shade and save your stuff, but in my case our time was counted and we couldn't stop in the middle of our walk. Keep this in mind. - The top straps need more padding, I believe it's comfortable for shorter walks, but not for +3hrs a day or so. - It seriously needs both chest and hip straps, because it only has one that you can adjust, but it doesn't do the job. Now I know maybe I'M the one to blame to take this to such a daring trek, but hey, I was on a thight budget. I would 100% recommend it for easier/shorter trips but I'm still taking one star down because the water incident was not very pleasant. *Ignore my gigantic sleeping bag, it is incredibly hot down and extremely cold up, so we had to take a huge cold weather sleeping bag that obviously wouldn't fit the bag.

Absolutely love this little pack, so much that I bought 2. I had bought a heavier weight 10L pack from G4Free but returned it because the heavier material was too bulky for my very minimal carry-on. This one in the lighter material is just right. Very well made: I've included photos of the interior stitching showing the reinforced taped seams & tight zigzag stitching at the strap points. I was able to put in a large fleece jacket & down vest into the main compartment & still had room to spare. It holds 12 oz plastic water bottles securely. I've worn this while biking & it's very comfortable. It's considered water-resistant but in a light rain, your items are likely to get wet unless you seal the seams...easier to just pop in a plastic bag inside the main pocket if you expect rain. This is not a problem - I've had expensive backpacks that also were prone to wetness. Great little pack, well made - (but always turn your pack inside out & check all the seams & zippers as sometimes there's a miss & you don't want to find out while hiking). Both were perfect....kudos to the seamstresses! Love the teal color; Initially bought the black as it was a few dollars cheaper. This little pack will see lots of use ... perfect lightweight comfortable pack.

Just went on a 5 mile hike with this backpack and I'm so impressed. So many backpacks make you feel extremely sweaty and hot but this one doesn't. The side pockets fit a 14 oz water bottle perfectly but could probably fit up to 17-20 oz bottles.

It's not bright green! Purposely chose bright green for high visibility. Other than that the bag itself is fine.it folds really small so you could keep it in a pocket if you needed to . Mesh pockets hold 24 0z water bottle. Main part of the pack is 2 compartments and the small front zipper compartment has a loop for keys which is super convenient to clips your keys to.

Have been using in Africa for my daypack. Excellent size. Only issue is water bottles fall out.

After nearly losing my teenager in the forest on a family hike, i decided to set new rules, including, everyone hikes in pairs, and one of those people needs to be carrying this backpack, which also has whistles, bottles of water, first aid and a little bit of food. My kid was alone with no water, no food no whistle, no spare clothing.. took us three hours to find him, but we did. Happy ending and lesson learned: even on a short, fun family hike, be prepared. Everyone likes these bags. They are lightweight, easy to carry and washable.

Parfait quand je part en ballade ou en vacances. Il est confortable et pratique avec les deux filets pour mettre des bouteilles d'eau ou des gourdes sur le côté. Il faut jute bien ranger le contenu à l'intérieur car le tissu est fin (comme tous les sacs de ce genre) donc on sent les aspérités dans le dos) mais il permet de ranger pas mal de choses à l'intérieur et ne prend pas l'eau par temps de pluie. Je l'utilise souvent il est vraiment très bien. Le prix est très correct.
