It's a pen. It looks and works like a pen. So...it's 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ from me. These were purchased in bulk for a project and met the needs of which they were intended perfectly.

This is THE red pen. Smooth as silk, goes on forever, loyal to the last drop, and cheap cheap cheap. 5/7 will recommend to all teachers. if you need a red pen to do the job: this is the one for you. The same pen in blue is also my favourite for my students to use, it is the perfect shade of blue (you know the one) for our aging, strained eyes.

I like Bic medium-point stick pens: nothing fancy, just your basic pen. I've been very pleased with blue medium-point Bic Round Stic pens. They're just right for my purposes. I've been less pleased with these red Xtra Life pens. The ink does not go on as thickly as I'd like. The pens are still an exceptionally good deal. But if I were ordering again, I think I'd skip the Xtra Life type, hoping that the regular type would put more ink on the paper.

The ink does not flow smoothly and easily. I have had other bic pen products (red in color) that have flowed much easier without excessive pressure.
