Great versatile solar light--Perfect for evening bbqs
Even though I have porch lights, when I bbq at night, the cooking surface is shadowed in darkness. I needed a light that could be directed directly at the bbq, wanted it hands free to turn on, and not to turn on when any racoon or deer entered our yard--we live in the forest. I mounted this light on the underside of the roof of my patio angled down at my bbq--this would limit what the motion detector would pick up. The solar panel mounted nicely on the sun side of the roof and the swivel mount made it easy to direct towards the sun. We have 21 mature cedar, fir and madrona trees surrounding our house and getting direct sunlight is challenging. The long 16' cord from the light to the panel made installation easy. I like mode 3, which allows the light to turn on full brightness as long as it sees motion. The light is positioned to catch motion when I walk up to the bbq. Lights are very bright. Great value for the price and well made. Kit comes with a remote, mounting brackets and screws.

Works great
I got this for my mom's front porch light went out. Rather than spending getting the lanter rewired and having to change out bulbs that now again attract moths. Or constantly having to plug 🔌 in the out door light, I went with this solar light. It's not very big but it's enough to light up my mom's front porch. With the different settings it's perfect. Have it on low 🔅 until someone sets off the motion sensor and it brightens up. And it shuts off during the day. No need to run up the electricity.

Good flood light.
Sensor works really well and the 3 modes cover our needs. Great purchase.

Keeps lit till morning
This light is not the brightest one but just does the job on the corner of my garage providing just enough light overnight. I use it at “steady on” mode since I have strong wired motion detection light and only wanted the front of my house lit overnight without running my electric meter. Recommend.

Not ideal for indoor/outdoor applications.
I purchased this to light the inside of shed and quickly realized the light sensor is built into the solar panel, not the light fixture. It must be almost completely dark outside for the light to go on at all. There's no way to manually turn it on when the solar panel is in a lighted space. I wanted a motion sensing light so that I could just walk into the shed with tools and gardening equipment without fumbling with a remote, but this item won't work for that application if there's any daylight. I repurposed it for an outdoor space and it works well.

Durable
Works well. But, I don’t like the color of the light as it looks kind of greenish to me. Also, the amount of light it produced was not up to my expectations. I don’t think the light produces 3000 LM as advertised and the unit charged for two days before I used it. I have a different solar light and it is advertised at 2500 LM and puts out twice as much light. Now, six months later the solar panel acrylic coating has turned opaque milky color. I’m sure it reduces the efficiency of the solar panel. Outside of that the light still works. UPDATE: Light still works as advertised. I have had it over a year now sitting in Texas heat and cold. UPDATE: Ii is now approaching a year and a half and the light still has the same brightness and it has survived being blown off the side of the garage. UPDATE: I had one of these lights as noted above, but it has continues to work 3 years later. I ordered a second set of two, about six months later, and the light is a plain white light. Both of those lights are still running. If you are using them in an area that has no light or very poor light they work fine. I have purchased several different kinds of solar powered lights, most have not lasted six months. This light is going strong at three years.

Soft lighting
I was getting a bit disappointed since they took a day or so to work. They are solar powered after all silly me lol. I bought two one for my car port and one for the back yard. The long cord helped to place it in the middle of the carport. The other I attached to a tree at about 15 feet high. The lighting is soft enough and it has a setting for motion sensor to increase brightness then after a few seconds it dims again. So far so good on both. :)

Brigheness and battery capacity are bad
(1) Brightness just like a regular 40 w light bulb LED replacement (which usually about 450LM) or even less, the 3000LM is definitely false advertising. (2) Battery capacity is bad, the event sensor is sensitive too much, LED triggered for no reason. Run out of battery after couple of hours at night.
