I never fixed or changed a doorbell before but our doorbell had been on the fritz for six months or more. Finally I had the drive and the time to see what the problem was. I didn't see how to remove the old doorbell except to pull it out. Sure enough it came out with two wires attached to it and two metal tabs that acted as anchors that pressed against the sides of the hole drilled for it.I went to the local hardware store and none of the doorbells were like the one I pulled out. They all were screw in types which would mean I had to drill a couple of holes in the stucco, put in plastic anchors and screw in the new doorbell--all stuff I didn't want to do.After searching and searching online I came across this doorbell but with no adequate pictures I still wasn't sure if this would work. I figured $10 and change was worth a look-see. When I opened the package I was very satisfied to see it was a perfect match of the one I removed.All I needed was a small philips screwdriver and a pair of needle nose pliers and I had my new doorbell installed and illuminated in a matter of minutes. It works perfectly and best of all it looks new.

I bought and installed this door bell 7 years ago. It has been working well. the light is still functioning and hasn't burned out after 7 years of being constantly on. It is hooked up to a 10 v transformer (lower voltage than normal). Maybe that is why it has been working well all this time. It doesn't get stuck some other door buttons I have pushed in past. So overall I highly recommend this doorbell button.Wow, I went to take a photo for this reveiw and noticed that it was cracked in middle. But still staying ther and I couldn't pull the button out of sucket. So I still think this is a great doorbell button and would buy it again.

Right out of the packaging this P O S doorbell did not work. Other reviews said cheap and falling apart…..agreed. Mine happened to be one that rings and won’t stop ringing. Now I have to waste more time just to try and find a brand that works. Whoever put the sticker on my doorbell that says “QC passed” evidently needs new glasses or maybe actually “test” the item they are quality checking which we all know doesn’t happen but the sticker looks assuring! Broan-NuTone used to mean quality. What happened? A few years ago I purchased a doorbell just like this one and it was made of better quality materials! Please stop making cheap stuff. Go back to the designs of yesterday make quality items and I’ll pay more.

easy to install, nice brushed steel look, and the button is lit up so you can see at night. Perfect fit and prefect size. No complaints.

Works great for me. No screws needed. Spring clips hold it in wall. I have pvc pipe in wall so installation was easy and large size covered up not so great stucco. Also button lights up.

Cheap piece of junk. Loosening the screws and the whole thing fell apart. Junk. I tried re-assembling it. Now when wires attached doorbell goes off nonstop. Tried seeing if it would then fit in opening and the damn thing fell apart again. Fell onto the ground. Perhaps my part was defective(?) but geez. Could be more junky?EDIT: after several attempts I was able to put everything back together and have it working now. Perhaps a small bit of glue would be helpful so the pieces don’t fall apart? (Upgrading from one to three stars)

I read reviews and was unsure if this would be hard to install, I needed very easy. I had toyed with idea of a replacement doorbell with ring but just wanted updated look. The ring would be better suited for the front gate entry , we had 2 doorbells one to enter courtyard then one at front door. Front door entry had a gold tone door bell with silver hardware. This was put o by developer. With the COVID-19 stay at home order you begin to notice things that previously did not seem to matter. So the door bell mismatch become a focus. I order a silver mat finish. Super easy for my husband to put on. He just pulled off old ring and attached this one with light and works perfect. Look better than gold. Now focus is painting outside house.
