## Description

Keep your yard free of burrowing critters with Victor Mole & Gopher Poison Peanuts. The handy peanut pellets act as both a bait and a killer to eliminate moles and gophers. First, the peanuts look and taste extremely palatable to these burrowing rodents. After ingesting the poison peanuts, the active ingredient, Zinc Phosphide, soon exterminates them. With 6 oz. of peanuts, this container includes plenty of bait to rid yourself of burrowing animals.It’s also easy to use! For your convenience, the container features a cone tip design that allows you to easily punch holes in active rodent tunnels. After identifying these active areas, simply poke a hole in the top of the tunnel with the pointed end of the cone. Next, drop in a teaspoon of poison peanuts and carefully close the tunnel with sod or stone. After a few days, check the burrows to see if they are still active. If so, repeat treatment. Note: this product should not be placed in areas that are easily accessible to children and pets.

Easy to administer and best if you use the cone nozzle to open up to the mole tunnel rather than disturb all the soil. (Moles are very sensitive to human smell so less contact the better)
Review: I was skeptical about the product, after reading reviews from users from Southen California. 3 reviews from Southern California had the product ineffective. Nevertheless, I used a 12" screw driver to poke holes to an area about 3 to 4 inches away(vertically) from the fresh mound. Going horizontal about 2 to 3 inches apart, poking until finding areas that gives and dips down without resistance. Used tip of the container to enlarge the hole, and dropped capful of pellets. Dropped capful of pellets to few tunnel pathways. No more mound, next morning. It's been about 2 weeks, without seeing new dirt mounds. Happy with the result.

**Q: How many holes will one container cover?**
A: My answer is dependent on the number of pellets you distribute in each hole. If you only deliver 2 or 3 pellets in each location I would say 20 holes.

**Q: Is this the same as the sweeney product (did victor buy out sweeney)?  it looks the same.**
A: Hello, I don't know if Victor is the same as Sweeney.  If the pellets are small and greenish in color then it may be the same. I have e never used Sweeney.

**Q: Is there a use by date on this? Will unused portion be able to be used in the spring?**
A: There is no expiration date for this product because the active ingredient does not become less effective over time. If stored in a cool, dry place they should still work. However, if they have become wet they will disintegrate like dog food or rabbit food and not be usable. The poison peanuts will decompose within 2-3 weeks of treatment.

**Q: If purchased now will this product last til spring**
A: Yes, The Victor M6006 Outdoor Mole and Gopher Bait will last till spring. We have a huge problem with ground moles so we use it as needed and always keep the mole bait on hand.
