I found Lectric Shave brand unpleasant to use though effective at giving me a better shave. This stuff is a lot more expensive but isn't at all unpleasant to use, and gives at least as good a shave without the undesirable after effects. A little goes a long way.

By far the best Pre-Electric lotion I have ever tried. The smell isn't to harsh, unlike the others. The closet electric shave I have ever gotten, works much better than expected!

I know most people can't afford this product. When it comes to products that actually work without using a lot it's really not that expensive. I've never ever gotten a shave (blade or electric) I was totally happy with until now. Been through countless ways to get a decent shave until now. I use this product with a dual foil electric razor and the results are something I would put up against any other way of shaving. The bottle has lasted months already and I think I will get close to a year. So is it really that expensive ?

It’s good, and it works. It doesn’t stink like Williams Electric pre shave lotion. That lotion smell does not go away. You can smell the alcohol in it, but after using it there is no fragrance left behind. The only thing keeping it from five stars is the price.

Surpassed expectations. Was using messier Lab Series and Jack Black pre-shave lotions really made for regular razors. They were adequate, but this Lab Series electric shave solution is idea. No odor. Not messy. No alcohol-like smell. Just enough lubrication to make my Panasonic electric glide over my face and cut even better.

For sensitive skin this product is a must have. Its easy to use and works really well

Years ago I used Williams electric shave but I’m glad I stopped, there are a lot of questionable chemicals in it. I was hoping this would be as good for shaving, sadly it is not. I have a Braun 9 razor and Lab Series just did not provide enough lubrication. For this price I should be delighted, it is not worth it.

Works OK. Not the best product for razor burn and its rather expensive. I've found Lectric Shave and Afta Preshave work just as well or better and price is 1/10 of the Lab Series brand. The only advantage to the Lab Series brand is the lack of perfumes. If you hate preshaves that have a scent, the Lab Series brand is a decent product with no scent.

I read many reviews on pre-electric shave lotions. I am very pleased I picked this one, even though it was expensive. I was a bit shocked when I noted the bottle size but actually only a small amount of the lotion is needed when used. There is no doubt in my mind that it does soften the beard and the oils also help the shaver glide over the skin better. Now I need to see how long a bottle lasts. I’ve been using for 2 months and the bottle seems to be 3/4 full still. So as I said, expensive but good.

I like it. The primary reason I bought this was as a scent-free head shaving option for use with my Panasonic Arc 5 and Lamdash Palm-In. In that way it is perfect, though signifantly more expensive than a virtually identically functional (though scented/fragrances) product like the ubiquitous Lectric Shave.
