I wish I would have taken pictures. Pool side loungers have gotten ridiculously expensive so we found a couple for cheap off of Facebook marketplace. They’re the old-school type with those softer plastic material type straps going across a metal frame. The guys that sold them to us told us not to use anything with bleach because it would easily crack the plastic material. I tried everything, OxiClean, baking soda and vinegar, anything that I could think of that wouldn’t be drying or abrasive, to dry annd get the black milder stains off. But nothing worked, until I came across this stuff. We’ve bought it twice now and have learned by trial and error the best way to do it. The first year I got this stuff, I was a little confused, so I sprayed it all over the chairs and took a scrubbie sponge to it to completely rub it in. Then I rinsed the chairs off with the hose, let them dry, and then gave them another good spray down. I didn’t like how the product kind of pooled and dried sticky in the middle of the chairs since they bow downward, but then I remembered that the rain would eventually rinse that away and hopefully it would hopefully do it’s magic. Within a week, the little black mold dots that had been bothering me so much were suddenly starting to disappear! I was truly in awe at how each week that went by, the chairs just looked better and better without ever reapplying!! So Last year, I bought this stuff again and figured I wouldn’t bother with the whole spraying, scrubbing them down, and rinsing off. I just went out and sprayed them down real well and left them. Definitely did not work as well. So long story short, that’s the trick!! Spray it on, scrub it in real good, rinse, let dry, then spray on again and leave it. Hope this helps!

I did a test — see photo — plastic fence was moldy after several years, so I sprayed half the panels with this product (on the right) and sprayed with water as a control (on the left). After two weeks, the panels I had sprayed were quite clean, as you can see in the photo. (Photo was taken a few months later, in winter, of two panels.) I have had similarly strikingly good results on the vinyl siding of my house. Note, that along with mold there is often trapped dirt. This product kills the green mold, but a bit of dirt sometimes remains, so results do not always look perfect, but the mold is gone and seems to stay gone. I have been very careful, as instructions say, not to spray on any plants, and to wear gloves, and not to breathe it in. When I researched this, I read that this is the same anti-mold chemical that hospitals use. And indeed, having worked in a hospital, this is what some of their chemicals smell like (not alcohol, a different smell.) Don’t use it if it will rain in a day or two; it must dry onto the surface you are cleaning. You can use it in cold weather, but not freezing cold. The product came with a detached sprayer, so I found myself lugging the bottle in one hand and spraying with the other hand, which was perfect. I much prefer doing that rather than buying the version that attaches to your hose, which does not seem as precise a delivery mechanism. Product also warns not to spray on anything that little kids will be playing on, or around, e.g. kids’ toys I suppose or jungle gyms that might get this on their hands and then into their mouths. I would also keep it away from any gardening areas, since molds and fungus can be an important contributor to soil fertility. The reason I wanted to use this method rather than power washing is largely because power washing is known to force water in between the cracks of vinyl siding and mess up the interior of houses. I didn’t want to risk that. But, on the other hand, this certainly is a strong chemical.

Works ok but takes several applications. Green is gone, but black is only gray now.

I've lived in my house for 20 years. Twice a season, I mix bleach and water in a pressure sprayer and spray the siding to get rid of blackish-gray mildew and green mildew in some areas as well. I have low air circulation due to dense trees around my house. I've also used this mixture on my patio furniture and decking wood but it doesn't work. Over the years I've tried other patio mildew sprays and none of them work. Only the bleach on the house fades it in color, but doesn't kill it. I've also tried vinegar on the deck and furniture and it doesn't work either, even with scrubbing. I bought this after reading the reviews. I was a little annoyed to read it takes a couple of weeks to work completely, but I wound up using on my deck (which I was prepping to re-stain/seal) because I knew I wouldn't be tackling the final cleaning on it until the weather improved, so if it didn't work, I still have time to try another method. I used the little bit left in the container on the deck side of the house, and the outside of the gutters. I can't believe it worked! I really couldn't see a difference for a week, but even on the deck, I really saw the spots I missed, and after scrubbing with hot water and deck cleaner with a brush, the sprayed areas still looked better than the parts I scrubbed. I bought a second container for the rest of the siding and gutters. I hope it really killed everything and I have less regrowth in fall. My only complaint is that, although the built in sprayer is a nice feature, I'd prefer to pour it in my pressure sprayer but you can't take the lid off. And that the pump handle is a killer on your hand and wrist, especially if you have a lot to do. I used the whole container all at once, and the same for the second container a couple of weeks later. It is a little more than 1 quart so you may need more than you'd think. The styling of the container makes the photo seems like it is closer to 2 qt but it's not.

Pro: I purchased 3 of these to cover the area that needed to be cleaned of mold, spattered black spots of unknown origin, and green algae on concrete. The trigger was easy to use, no smell, no leakage, big size, and has a trigger spray or stream that my hands were able to use for two hours which was a pleasant surprise because I have arthritis in my fingers and joints. I only used the stream instead of the spray nozzle because it dispensed a larger quantity onto the concrete. The container is attractive, but I found it too heavy to carry for long, even switching hands frequently. I'm shorter in height so I could set it down on the ground sometimes and that helped me finish the job. Con: I didn't see any changes in the appearance of the concrete, but the bottle states it can take anywhere from a month to a year for it to work it's magic. Obviously, there is no way to currently review its' effectiveness at this point! I've given it a 3 star rating for now, but if Amazon lets me, I'll come back to comment on any changes when I see any. UPDATE: 3 MONTHS LATER - Well, it's definitely doing something, but not enough to change it up from 3 stars. All of the green algae is gone, but the black spots are mostly a medium gray color now. None of the sidewalks are actually clean without discoloration though so at this point I doubt I'll purchase any more of them. If it changes in the future to an even concrete color I'll be back to update it. No updates will mean that no further improvement has been noted in another 3 to 6 months.

Maybe this was in the fine print, but this product takes months to work, not overnight like Wet & Forget shower product. Maybe I’ll spray it on my wooden deck after cleaning it with a pressure washer. Perhaps it could prevent some buildup going forward. But I never would have purchased it if i had known how long it took to work,

Don't understand the bad reviews. This works on every surface at my home: deck, porch concrete, siding, stone. The only negative is it is expensive.

The Wet and Forget is pretty accurate but it does not remove the mold. It kills it and let it set a day and you can wipe it all off or power hose it off. Good product.

I have already tried the product. It was good. The mold and algae were slowly disappearing. I will sure order again. Only thing i hope is the seller can lower down the price a bit as it's quite an expensive product.

I was very surprised how well this worked. The side of my house (see red highlight in pic) had algae growing on it. I sprayed on wet & forget and within a few days can see an amazing result. I will definitely buy it again.

Expensive and not able to work as intended. Very disappointed.

I spray Wet & Forget Outdoor on 30th July 2021 on a external wall, the algae disappeared in 1-2 weeks. now (19th August 2021) there are some black stains left, I am not sure if those stains are dead algae, mold, or mildew, need to wait for a few months to see the effectiveness since the wall was sprayed 20 days only.
