Hat Clip - Don't Lose Your Hat! Great for Sailing, Boating, Anything Outdoors! Made in America

Excellent product, finally used the leash this weekend. Endured strong winds while riding in speedboat. Hat blew off 3 times but remained tightly connected to leash and I never lost my hat. Highly recommended. I have used other leashes in which the clip is less strong and have lost a couple of hats while racing sailboats in high winds. I have no doubt that this product will not fail my expectations and I will no longer lose hats with its use.

This is my second Hat Leash. I was so happy with mine that I got one for my boyfriend. It is easy to use, works perfectly, and is holding up after months of use while sailing. It has saved my hat more than once.

Must have for hat wearing convertible car owners. I use it for baseball type caps. I give it 4 stars for it's holding power and quality. I didn't give it 5 because it occasionally pokes me in my neck making me swat invisible bugs. Of course I have no idea how they could give it good grip and not poke you in the neck. And I suppose I could wear shirts with a collar and move it away from my neck but alas, I am a t-shirt kind of guy.

Hat Leash clips arrived on-time and were as described. I was looking for a hat clip which had stronger, longer teeth and better clamping. These are perfect. I originally ordered the clips to attach outdoor accent pillows to chairs, to keep them from blowing away in higher winds. Will be ordering more to replace our old hat clips, which tend to come loose in higher winds. We spend time at the beach, sail and SUP-board. Excited about finding clips that actually do the job; keeping our hats in place and securing our outdoor pillows. Great product. Proudly sporting our Hat Leash sticker on the back of our FJ.

I use this for surfing! It attaches to my baseball cap and then to the back of my swim suit / wetsuit. It's incredibly strong and keeps my hat with my when I'm tossed around in the ocean. The clip is relatively flat so it doesn't hurt my head when pressed against my skull. I recommend for all surfers or stand-up paddlers who don't want a hat with a dorky chin strap.

The hat leash seems okay but I note that the spring in the clip is magnetic hence either not a high grade of stainless steel or indeed not stainless steel. The clips are not magnetic and therefore likely stainless. I looked at the web site for hat leash and it claimed the clips were stainless steel no mention of stainless steel on the Amazon site. I am concerned that the springs will rust in the salt air where I live and in turn leave rust marks on my hat and clothes - we'll see

Good product and responsive customer service. The clips on my black leash are not black as the picture shows. Also, one of the clips was bent but the seller replaced it immediately. It accomplishes what you would expect. Thanks!
