First impressions Seemed of better quality than other games of its kind. Worked flawlessly. It’s a picture quality impressive using HDMI first game I played Zelda Link To The Past It looks better than the original and played just as well. The music may have been slightly off. All and all it’s a must buy

This thing is better than I thought . It played all my sega and Super Nintendo bootleg games as well as the originals with absolutely no problem. Sunset riders ,Tmnt,RoboCop vs Terminator are all made at some guys house and they all worked !!!It used all my after market controllers and originals as well which was great if you want to use updated ones with them being a little reliable . I didn’t think this would take all the games but it did .Graphics look just as good as it did back then . The LED retro light gives it a cool look that stands out from all of these consoles . A plus is if you don’t want it on just hit the switch in the back . I’ve had a few of these consoles but gave them away . This one works just as good if not better so far than those .

The power switch is a little iffy, it doesn't like to switch between "off" and "genesis" easily, but otherwise, great product. I love the fact it uses HDMI, so I can still play my favorite classics without having to break out one of those old dinosaurs, maybe breaking my back in the process.

I have to confess... I originally wanted this for my greedy little self, but seeing as I already have a Xbox One X and PS5 I wanted to get something for my 58 year old cousin whom lives with me who just has games on her phone 😭. She by the way is a big 80s head so this made a obvious choice 😁. I had all of my original games NES, SNES, controllers (no working system except Sega) growing up as a kid so when it came in I had her ready to go with her favorite game... SUPER MARIO WORLD ftw! It takes new world Hdmi cables as well as rca jacks (has options to fit to screen or native, I like my games all - natural and so does Sis). Got that squared away, pushed the switch up on SNES on the front of the console to which their are 3 total NES, SNES, and Sega and push the power button then WHAM! it blasts off to the perfect nostalgia of yesteryear. The console also has funky lighting on it which can be disabled BTW comes with 2 controllers (try getting a second controller with a console these days LOL) with 10ft cords, and plays cartridges from multiple regions, it's hard to argue for a better value then what you get with this product. BONUS TIP: The SNES carts that have 500+ games sold on Amazon do work on this system as well... Food for thought.

I have had Old Skool’s Classiq system for a week now, and am thoroughly pleased with my purchase! Positives: The system works without fault, minus off course the occasional user blowing to clean the carts/the cart dock. The design is sleek and reminiscent of the SNES design, also the light feature is nifty and works well. The system comes with the full package, including an HDMI hook-up, and ACV cables depending on the TV that you are using. The picture quality is pristine and looks great in either format size. It is compatible with Galoob’s Game Genies, Nintendo’s Super Game Boy adapter, and home brew games! I’ve been able to play Metroid: Rouge Dawn, on a reproduction cartridge. Not to mention it includes a regional adapter switches for foreign cartridges! The SNES region switch is located on the underside of the system,unlike the others, which is odd, but I’m not playing with foreign cartridges often, so it doesn’t affect me. Negatives: A few issues that I have with this system are this. The controllers that it came with are okay, but I purchased Hyperkin’s reproduction ergonomic controllers for each of the ports, (available on Amazon), and are the perfect replacement. Also, the individual game slots sometimes seem to hug the cartridges a little tight, and will take a little brute force, and gentle rocking it from side-to-side to get it out. The system is “sturdy” but the plastic does feel a little flimsy, especially in the center, they could have reenforced it a little. Something that I have also purchased to help extend the life of the system, is 1up’s cartridge cleaning kit so that the cart dock stays clean. I hope this review was helpful, happy gaming!

I loved it it lights up and brings back all the nostalgia. If you're wanting to play sega Genesis you'll need a sega Genesis controller as well.

I love this thing. I would suggest finding controllers for each system. The controllers provided work well but do not work for all games. Once I got aftermarket original style controllers I was instantly transported to childhood. Looks great on screen and the graphics look sharp. The system works great.

So far so good.
