I have it grow up a trellis and getting an abundant of fruit which tastes great. I cut back bottom leaves and any extra throughout to get good airflow. Highly recommend. My lady is from Korean and has been living in American for a couple of decades, and this is one several things that she misses and they are not really available locally where we live, although the Asian markets will carry them from time to time but the quality is usually lacking. Over the years we have tried to cultivate Korean Melons a few times to very disappointing results, of maybe one or two melons and they never really got very big.This year after giving up for even trying for four or five years I decided to give it another try and ordered some of these seeds. I started four of them inside in March and they all germinated and grew quite well under grow-lights. At the end of April I moved them outside and tragedy struck.. a rabbit decided to eat one of the plants leaving three to try and make their way. They actually stalled for a week or so after the shock of transplanting, and then they took off.I ended up vertically trellising them up the side of my house, most of the plants grew 6' - 8' vines and started producing good sized fruit along them. I do have supplemental watering for the plants that makes sure they are watered every 2 - 3 days instead of only relying on rain. We ended up getting about 5 melons per plant, and they are starting to slow down as we near the end of August (no more flowers showing up). I still have several more melons which are formed and they are almost ready to start turning still on the vine.The two packs come with plenty of seeds, which cover us for a few more years, and they arrived in good shape.
