Have previously bought 6 ? others - and buying again for a friend and wife's Christmas go bag supplies. High quality, secure welded spots, all latches quality structure. Any looseness is easily tightened with a needle nose or pliers to the latch. Many compartments and removable small trays for other uses (frozen, chilled products). Very easy to open and close with secure binding. Total stainless - totally easy to clean and air or towel dry. Dishwasher or campfire washing safe. Highly functional unit.

Gave as gifts.. lunchbox / camp emergency box. They give 5 stars each! Sturdy and spacious enough for sandwiches, snacks and still have room for emergency supplies out in the field. Compact enough to easily fit into backpack or lunchbag. Added tactile sporks and camp cups for perfection for my avid outdoorsman/women

Let us do pros and cons: PRO: It is easy to clean, transport and holds a great deal for a lunch. Having two layers to keep different foods stuff away from each other was brilliant. Such as your sandwich on one layer, and the pod they provided holding pickles and still have space for chips of some kind. However YOU pack a lunch, it gives you the space you need. CONS: I do not over load this lunch box, so its not stress on the metal. I stated that because the corners are breaking! Picture someone taking a metal cutter and cut the corner of this metal box. This is what it looks "kinda" like. I have not dropped it, or tossed it and never washed it in a dishwasher. I wash it by hand. I put this within an insulated lunch tote. Then it goes into my truck back seat on the floor, where at last I then place it within my place at work within their refrigerator. They same issue has happened to the POD NESTING CONTAINER that is indeed, "perfect for fruit, nuts or THICK SAUCES like humus or yogurt." I used it those things, pickles, dip that sorta food stuffs. So why is its corner have the same "tear?" And yes, the manufacturer did warn that this POD will leak, and it does! I placed it within a sandwich bag to resolve that issue. I plan on purchasing the other POD version with the leak proof lid. I did purchase another one of the Stainless Steel 3-in-1 Bento Lunch Box. This one is holding up better. So perhaps it was a manufacturing defect? Just seemed odd that both the lunch box and POD had its corner breaking... Will see. Bottom line: I purchased this in an attempt to remove myself from plastic (and I do so to keep my carbon footprint as low as I can) as I do with other parts of my life, in an attempt to be as healthy as I am able in our world of consumer poisons. This lunch box does aid a person in this health quest. So I am not trying to write that it is a terrible product. Just beware of this occasional flaw. Besides, AND NOT THIS WELL: they did say it has a life time warranty. I just do not have time to contact them and write a review too. I work 55 to 60 hour work weeks these last few years. So money is not an issue, as of now. OH! Time is what I have a short supply of!

We haven’t had it for long so I’ll update if there are ever changes but so far we love this little box! I was looking for more ways to be plastic free and still make taking lunch to work easy for my husband. This was perfect. We loved the stackable quality rather than having segments in one box. This allows less leaking between ingredients (which is a big no go for me.) I give it only a 4 star on leak proof simply because I don’t want people thinking soups or liquids like that aren’t going to leak. We have had no leaking issues but I don’t think that would be the case with anything really fluid. We put salad dressings and oils in a little separate glass jar if he needs it. It also still fits nicely in his lunch bag if he needs to have ice. It fits the right amount of food without having to cut up every thing to make it fit. That was a problem we have had with other options. I also appreciate that it has the clasps to make it more secure. I don’t have to worry about the lid being popped off inside his bag. I think I will eventually order myself one of these too.

This bento is so cute! It is shiny stainless steel, so no rusting. It is the perfect size for a sandwich and a side. I love that it has a separate container that fits inside for dip or dressing. It’s not leak proof, but it is leak resistant...meaning soups probably would not hold well, but thicker liquids do well. You do have to use both layers together, but it’s compact enough that size is not a problem. The price is a little high, but you also get what you pay for. Definitely worth the buy!

Bought 2 of these and I wanted to love these based on the info in the description (sturdy lock and dishwasher safe). THIS IS NOT THE CASE! When the package arrived, we took them apart to wash. One package’s “sturdy” latch broke right away (sent back right away). The direction cards that came in the boxes said “best to hand-wash because latch may break in dishwasher” directly contradicting what was advertised. So, I hand washed after each use and after the 2nd use latch broke off on this set. Unfortunately, do not base your purchase of these on the latch system or dishwasher safe comments in the advertising. The functionality of the product is good and was easy to pack multiple things for my children’s lunch. The stainless steel (along with an ice pack in their lunchbox) kept things cool even on the hottest day, which was the reason for my purchase. I will keep even with the latch breaking because I don’t want to waste more time returning and fighting this.

It's hard to get to excited about writing a review for a lunch box. The product has a simple job - hold your lunch together as you transport it from home to work/school. The clasps and overall setup of the lunch box is acceptable, although there are improvements that can be made. For example, the smaller container used for holding small berries, hummus, or other foods doesn't quite lockup or lineup inside the container, making it difficult to evenly distribute food around this insert when using it in your box. Not a game changer, but with more design work it could be very beneficial. My biggest grip (and to be fair, it wasn't advertised) is that this box doesn't really keep anything cold unless it's constantly in a refrigerator. I have a few stainless steel cups that I feel do a better job holding items at a cold temperature from my commute from home to work. Within about 8-12 minutes of removing from the refrigerator, I'm on the clock to either eating what I have inside or moving my food to another cooling unit. Again, this wasn't advertised to keep your food cold, I just think that for the price you pay, better materials and development could have made this a better product. I feel like if I drop this on the ground it's going to easily take some damage since the walls of the box aren't very strong. Oh well, I have a lifetime warranty per their listing, so if I can somehow find this companies website (which has been difficult to find) I'll know I have a company who will back their product. Lastly, I will save that it's easy to maintain and clean. Rinse out with hot water, use a sponge and everything wipes out easily.

I could not be happier with this purchase. The product itself is amazing quality and worth the price since it lasts so long and comes with a lifetime warranty. Additionally, I couldn't be happier supporting this company. After using the product and interacting with customer service, I feel confident in picking this company for my eco-friendly lunchbox needs. They are quick and friendly with responses, and helped me immediately with my issue. So, on a customer service assesment alone, this company receives full marks. The lunchbox will last years (which fulfills any desire to live more sustainably and conciously, opposed to opting for single or limitted-use products) and fits easilly in my purse, backpack, tote, etc. It's durable, yet not too heavy and has no signs of wear after multiple uses and washes. It holds quite a bit of food. Overall, I'm glad to support a company promoting low-waste, low-impact, and eco-concious and friendly living while getting a truly superb product out of it.

Great size, not too big or small.. decent value for money for quality of product. Wouldn’t recommend any liquids as seal doesn’t prevent leaks but apart from that perfect for the job. Can easily store multiple bars, some sliced fruit or veg in the smaller container and sandwich in the bottom. Sturdy and hasn’t let me down yet. Definitely recommend.

I like these for my kid's lunches over the plastic ones. They work well, and the cleanup is easy!
