Artland Simplicity 8-Piece Punch Bowl Set

Bowl is beautiful and thick enough to be sturdy for some time. We rarely use the cups, but they are nice as well. Always use a plastic ladle - the glass one is pretty but too fragile-looking. We used the bows for Mojito punch all summer - perfect!

I read in someone else's review that the included ladle is made of glass, and that's absolutely correct. Something about it's weight and heft convinced me to purchase a different ladle. It just feels a bit brittle, and frankly I don't want to waste a whole bowl full of punch because of broken glass in it. The rest of the pieces have a quality heft and weight, as well as being intriguing to look at. It's a great size for serving 10-15 people. Looks great on the bar, or on a serving table. I'm planning a lot of social gatherings, and expect to use this product a lot. It stores nicely in standard sized cabinet space. (We're talking the ones you get with apartments here.), and the cups are nice to use as decorations. I may purchase more of them if I can find cups that match in the future.

The bowl itself is nice. The glasses are nice as well, though typically more than 6 people drink punch. The ladle arrived somewhat deformed, there was a pointy glass barb at the end of the handle. After reading other comments about the glass ladle breaking so easily, I chose to not use the included ladle and just bought a clear plastic ladle at the dollar store. The price of the product seems slightly high for a bowl and 6 cups, but overall it is a nice product and I would recommend it if you want a classy home for that tasty punch.

As mentioned in the title, the punch bowl set looks very nice. We hand washed it after receiving it and used it a few days later for a party. Within 10 minutes, the ladle broke where the stem meets the scoop. No one dropped it or was overly rough with it. It really is a shame that they invested so much in style, but so little in substance. Pros - looks nice - holds a lot of liquid Cons - very cheap (broken within 10 minutes of light use) - only 6 cups, without the ability to purchase additional ones (when the punch bowl holds enough liquid to easily serve 30+, 6 cups doesn't cut it) - more stylish options are available from other companies

I kept the punchbowl because I needed it for the holidays but otherwise I would have returned it. The ladle broke as I took it out of the package. The rim of the bowl had several nicks. I would not recommend buying this.

I am extremely happy with this purchase! The glass is very thick and heavy. It is both lovely and wellmade. It arrived safely and very well packed. I would not have been surprised to see this for more than 3 times the price I paid on amazon. Absolutely worth your money!!!

I love this punchbowl. It is well designed and I get compliments on it every time I use it. It is well designed, sturdy, and beautiful. I listened to other reviewers and bought a plastic ladle to go with it. The included ladle has a long, delicate handle, and I did not want it to break. Alas, at the last event, I placed it back in the box after removing the punchbowl several glasses. Someone moved the box and the remaining glasses shifted in the box causing the ladle to break. Truly, it is just too delicate. It's not that big of a deal since I already didn't use it and had a replacement, but it is still disappointing since it was part of an otherwise wonderful product.

I received this punch bowl at an APO address a week before it was estimated to arrive! I was thrilled to open it and see that the quality was everything I was hoping for. It is very thick glass and was very well packaged so that no parts were broken. I would suggest this set to anyone looking for a contemporary looking punch bowl set.

As I have never had a punch bowl and wanted one for a New Year Party I was exceptionally please when this item arrived. It is really elegant, very good quality a great purchase and worth every penny. Would recommend this to anyone.

This punch bowl set is hand crafted so, whilst the item picture shows every glass (and the bowl) looking pretty much the same with the ripple effect, the product you receive may not match this. At least, mine didnt - some cups were thicker than others and some had more of a ripple whilst others didnt. The glass was also almost plain on one side with a ripple effect on the other. But that's fine. I wasnt expecting a perfect set as it is hand crafted. However, what might have been nice was for the ladle to still be intact on opening up the box (which it was not). However, it really didnt stand much of a chance. The point where the ladle bowl meets the handle is so thin I can see how it easily sheered off. Anyway, as I like the bowl and the cups I have decided to keep these, bin the broken glass ladle and replace the defective item with Clear Punch Bowl Ladle 7oz | Polystyrene Serving Ladle, Drinks Ladle, 7oz Ladle instead. To be honest, I think I would always be concerned that the set's original glass ladle would've ended up breaking when in use anyway.

This made a real impact on a firework party we held. Attractive and sturdy and easy to maintain. Makes a nice ornament when not in use
