Convenience and comfort!
This is the ultimate barn hack! We use these on the individual fans for our show horses to control when the fans turn on or off. No more worrying about running to the barn to shut fans off during a brief cool down. works great and you can even sync multiple thermostats to one remote to run all the fans on the barn on one. Highly recommend !

This thing works
I bought this so that I could control two Envi Plug in Wall Heaters. I wanted the heaters because they do not have a fan and I would not have to worry about noise or moving parts. The bad part is that the heaters are do not have a thermostat. The WTC 100 took care of that problem. The remote sensor cycles the heaters on and off resulting in a very even room temperature. Setting things up was a little confusing because it took me a minute to figure out how to pair the socket and the remote. But once I had them paired, the system has worked flawlessly (about three weeks). Overall, a great product!

Great for setting and forgetting
These are accurate, handy and pretty easy to use. Would be 5 stars if I didn’t have one melt on me. May have been socket may have been item

Works great, turns on/off furnace booster fan
I have a booster fan on a heating duct in my basement going to my enclosed porch/sunroom where my Bonsai are located. I wanted the booster fan to go on below 60degrees and off above 65degree. I installed two AAA bateries (not supplied) in the remote, changed Celsius to Farenheit, mode was already in HEAT. I set ON to 60degrees and OFF to 65degrees. I plugged the receiver into outlet, then plugged booster fan power cord into receiver. The remote was already paired with receiver. I put the remote with temperature sensor (W100 model) in the porch, testing with window open. As soon temp lowered to 59F, booster fan went on. I moved remote to warm vent air, when temp got to 65F, booster fan turned off. Works great, and now I don't have to run downstairs to switch booster fan on/off, and better than having fan controlled by furnace, because I don't need fan on when the sun warms the porch/sunroom >65F but inside house still needs furnace heat. I had to use a 3-prong outlet extender when plugging in receiver for clearance of outlet switch, just a slight inconvenience. (Receiver covers whole outlet)

Can't turn the alarm off permanently. AVOID!
This thing works fine but it has a fatal flaw. There is NO WAY to turn the alarm off permanently. We have it set to control a 400W heater if the temperature falls below the set level. It works great, but the alarm goes off at random intervals until the unit reaches reaches the turn off temperature. The unit usually turns on at night meaning the alarm beeper, which is quite loud, goes off randomly multiple times at night. The manual states that you can mute the beeper by pressing any button when it's going off. That's fine, but that means you can turn it off only after it wakes you up, and it's not a permanent setting. It'll wake you up again to turn if off 20 minutes later. The alarm function turns this from a good design to a design from HELL. DO NOT BUY THIS unless you like being woken up over and over at random intervals during the night.

Fantastic product
My ac thermostat failed and it was staying on constantly. Was thinking about spending over $1000 for a new ac. I then found this product! Works great! Highly recommended!

Works okay but could be outstanding if.....
I guess I thought the temp sensor would be in the plug unit allowing the remote to be positioned away from the elevated plug unit. The intention was to mount the plug in the attic while the remote stayed conveniently on the wall one floor down.

Saved the day !
I have a vintage (1985) G.E. window AC in the bedroom that is far superior to any you can buy now. Unfortunately, the thermostat in these older A.C.s' can be the one week point, and mine failed. We replaced the unit with a new A.C., and it was noisy, the compressor was loud, and it didn't cool well. Heart broken, I looked for options to rescue my older one. I came across this controller, and took a shot. Happy days again ! This thing works perfect. It's well made, not too hard to figure, and cuts my A.C. on and off as it should. Highly recommend. This is a real review.
