Stainless Steel Inner Cooking Pot Mini 3-Qt, Polished Surface, Rice Cooker, Stainless Steel Cooking Pot

I have been using an extra stainless steel inner pot for my Instant Pot for a while now, and it has genuinely changed how I cook. If you do a lot of meal prepping or enjoy cooking multiple dishes in a row, having a secondary pot is an absolute necessity. Instead of having to scrub out the pot immediately after finishing one dish, I can just swap it out, throw the dirty one in the dishwasher, and keep the cooking process moving. The quality of the stainless steel is impressive. It feels substantial, and because it has a tri-ply bottom, it provides even heat distribution that helps avoid those frustrating "burn" errors. I prefer the stainless steel over the non-stick or ceramic options because I don't have to worry about the coating flaking off over time or needing to be extra careful with my utensils.

Exactly like the original. I wanted an extra pot so I could cook 2 items back to back. I can now cook chicken and immediately cook rice, potatoes or cabbage and rutabagas in a clean pot right away to have for the same meal. Best decision ever. I highly recommend getting a second pot. In the hot summer days cooking in an instant pot keeps your kitchen from getting too warm like cooking on a stove or oven will. A microwave is good too but not everything can be cooked and come out good in a microwave. An instant pot is also much quicker and easier than cooking on a stovetop. You also don’t have to worry about things boiling over in an instant pot. Much healthier than a slow cooker. I haven’t used my slow cooker at all since getting an instant pot.

This fits my 8 qt instant pot without causing burn errors. Wish it was the non stick that originally came with my walmart special, but that replacement doesn't seem to exist. Only downside with the stainless steel is that it must be washed immediately after use for easiest cleanup.

This is exactly like the original pot that comes with the Instant Pot. It has a good weight to it and performs just as expected. Having a second pot is very convenient, especially for prepping food or storing leftovers. I have an 8 quart Instant Pot. I bought this 3 quart pot for Pot in Pot (PiP) cooking. I've used it twice so far, both times for making rice. The 3 quart pot fits perfectly inside my 8 quart pot - plenty of room around the outside. It's easy to put in and take out. It doesn't "bake" the rice at the bottom of the pot. And it's a LOT easier to wash this little pot when making a smaller amount of something than the 8 quart! It's heavy-duty and excellent quality. All around, I'm thrilled!
