Or can it only be mounted directly onto the deck?** A: Ours did not include a mounting plate - nor did it need one. A plumber installed on our porcelain sink, and it still looks great nearly two years later. We had an earlier KWC faucet in our Michigan hime and loved it as well. The only kitchen faucet I will ever buy. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Works "fine" - has two issues you should read about! *by D***. on Reviewed in the United States on November 20, 2017* The unit is nice looking but I discovered things that I couldn't tell until it was installed and being used: The water flow is switched from stream to shower with a button on the head but you can't turn it back to full stream unless you turn off the water. It doesn't reset by pushing the button again, which my last faucet did. The base holding the handle is longer than my last faucet so it is very close-too close to the soap dispenser. The distance is set by the holes in the sink, so you can't move them farther apart, if you wanted to, and I want to! For the price of this faucet it should feel more sturdy.
