You sort of have to tap or “puff” them out so it can be difficult to get them in the correct place, but there’s not really a better way to dispense graphite powder. I wish the flakes were a little finer, as I was using them to lubricate the nut slots on musical instruments, and it was hard to get the flakes into the narrow slots. It’s probably about the same coarseness as table salt.
