UPDATE: I’d still buy this over Magic Keyboard any day
I don’t have a Magic Keyboard so maybe I’m unaware of what makes them so great. I tried one in the Apple store and didn’t see what justifies the price. The keys have a nice feel to them and the pass-through charging is handy if you use it all the time, but that’s still not enough reason for me to spend that kind of money. So I got this one and I’m glad I did. I’ve had this for about a year, often traveling out of state with it in my backpack, and have had no issues with it. It types just as well as others and lights up like it’s supposed to. I’ve dropped my iPad on hardwood floors multiple times and this case has kept it locked in place and protected it from cracks, dents, and scratches even when the case was open. I’ve only charged the battery a few times since owning it, partially because it goes to sleep if I forget to turn it off. The little leather tab has kept my knockoff Apple Pencil in place over the past year during the same hard drops and travels as well. What I like most is the swivel action and backward folding that allow me to use it in any angle I need. That’s when other people tend to notice it and compliment it as well. I often hang it off my dresser drawer upside down at night when watching shows in bed. It has such a thoughtful design. The standard for me with most products is whether I would buy another to replace it if it this one breaks or gets lost, and I absolutely would. March 2026 update: Almost 2 years in and still no major problems. The battery holds a charge for a long time, keys are still responsive and illuminate, and after several more drops to the hardwood there is no damage to the case or iPad. The leather tab does not hold my pen securely anymore but this could probably be remedied with a rubber band. I didn’t mention in my original review how useful the trackpad is. I’ve been using this case in place of a laptop more often lately and it’s been great. Stage manager is a nice feature of the iPad and makes it easy to use different apps at once, even more so with a cheap external display. I would still buy again if this case were broken or lost.

Excellent Keyboard and Case all in one
Exactly what I needed. I purchased a new iPad Air 11” and love this keyboard/case. It feels like a laptop but better with 360 soft turning capability. Some things I learned during the setup process. 1. If you transfer your old iPad to your new one and you have issues with the keyboard, do a “Reset All Settings”. This will fix all keyboard issues and retain your Apps and Data. You’ll need to re-add your WiFi and tweak other settings but it works great afterwards. 2. Go to trackpad settings and select Tap to Select. This will give you 1 tap on the trackpad to open apps and more. 3. Purchase “ Ultra-Thin Black Anti-Slip Rubber Grip Tape 2" x 16.5FT Strong Adhesive | Ultra-thin textured non-slip” and put it on the bottom. This will make it harder to drop when holding/walking. So far, this thing is rock solid. It’s better than the last one I purchased. Highly recommend.

A Necessity
Fits perfectly, the keyboard is amazing to use and a true lifesaver in many instances. It feels durable without feeling heavy which is great. The swivel feature has received a lot of intrigue from people at work and just around, with some directly asking for me to send them the link so they can buy it themselves. A genuinely important purchase that I would almost argue is more important than the ipad it fits on.

Buy it.
Nice product. The case feels solid and durable and it works really well. The keyboard is nice with no lag, the trackpad is a little iffy. The backlight is cute and they include a list of shortcuts which is also really nice. Super easy to use and set up. My only issue is that it’s pretty hard to open and turn the “screen” part around. definitely requires two hands. Closing it too fast makes me nervous as well cuz it’ll slam down pretty hard. Other than that I like this product and I think the price is worth it!!

worth it weight in gold!!
My friend purchased this keyboard but for her iPad mini. I had to have so I purehed the typecase Touch Keyboard for my iPad Pro 11 inch and it was a perfect fit. And It was delivered the next day June 13. It’s only been only a week and I love this keyboard with track pad case, It has turned my iPad Pro into a computer. The key is easy to attach to iPad easy to pair 5 min and I was up and typing. The keyboard have a nice touch and are the size of a regular size keyboard. It’s study and appears to made to last and protect my iPad Pro. The cost is well worth the purchase. Now to the cons the the shortcut pamphlet that comes with the typecase keyboard Touch is so obsolete. Very few of the shortcuts work on my keyboard case. For I had to call the number on back of the case to find out how to turn the track pad off because my palm kept touching the track pad as I typed, and he also many of the keys in the pamphlet, the typecase keyboard Touch doesn’t have. not a game changer. FYI: Typecase sellers it would be nice if you update your Shortcut pamphlets and make the keys on the pamphlet so hey can be read. Also for future reference of the new and updated keyb case would you plans put 2 legs on the back of the case to prop the case up while typing. Still not a game changer. I’ve been on this keyboard since it arrived. I have no regrets on his purchase so far and I will keep this review updated. UPDATE: the pencil holder doesn’t hold the Apple Pencil anymore. The piece of fabric attached to the case that’s holds the pencil became stretch out of shape and too big for the pencil so I had to purchase a pencil case.

Disappointing design and poor functionality
I really wanted to like this iPad keyboard case, but unfortunately, I cannot recommend it. The material quality is acceptable, but it does not feel premium or durable. It feels like the case may not hold up well over time, and I do not feel confident that it provides strong protection for the iPad. It is not the cheapest option available, but the build quality does feel lower compared to other cases I have used. The keyboard connectivity worked fine, and I did not experience any issues connecting it to my iPad. However, the biggest problem is the design of the Apple Pencil holder. The holder is placed in a way that prevents the Apple Pencil from attaching to the iPad and charging. This means that if you store the Pencil in the built-in holder, it will not charge. On the other hand, if you keep the Pencil attached to the side of the iPad so it can charge, it is not secure and can easily fall off, making it very easy to lose. For a product like this, Apple Pencil functionality is an important feature, and this design flaw is a major issue. The case is not completely unusable, but this problem significantly affects the overall experience. This case may be slightly cheaper than some other options, but in my opinion, it is worth paying a little more for a product that is better designed, provides better protection, and is likely to last longer.

Powerful iPad Hard-Shell Case & Full Function Keyboard
Looking for a high-quality keyboard and case for your iPad? I have had similar cases to this in past and been pleased. This is a new case for my new iPad M5 11”. So far, I am very pleased. The hard-shell case protects your iPad extremely well without overly increasing size and weight of the iPad by itself. The keyboard is backlit with many colours available and two brightness levels & off, and the keys feel very comfortable for typing. The thing that sets this keyboard above any others I’ve seen is it’s multitude of functions, shortcut keys, and combo keys; they offer far more then the basic functions available with the onscreen keyboard, and usual iOS functions. The 360° swivel makes it so easy to use in every conceivable position. The addition of a touchpad mouse plus the touchscreen gives you the best of both worlds. I would readily highly recommend this keyboard and case.

You get what you pay for…
I realllllyyyy wanted to like this keyboard. I’ve been eyeing it for months and finally decided to pull the trigger on the purchase when I realized carrying my 16inch MacBook Pro to school was more cumbersome than I’d like. However, this keyboard is very cheaply made and feels like it will break sooner rather than later. While I understand it’s only $60 bucks or so, I don’t have much faith in the products quality. The con’s for me are: It’s hard plastic so as you’re rotating the device between the keyboard and the tablet it’s so stiff that it feels unnatural to twist. Almost like it’s not made to rotate when that’s this products key feature and selling point — the ability to use between a “laptop” view and a tablet view. It’s also a bit imbalanced so you will feel a slight give, or push down in the tablet view as you’re writing because the keyboard is not flush to the back of the tablet in the tablet view. Again, another one of those instances where you feel it’s unnatural. Also, speaking of the keyboard, the trackpad is also very stiff to press onto and if you ask me, only works when you press down towards the very bottom, it’s not responsive all over. The pro’s for me were the concept of this products design. I love that even though it feels unnatural, it’s still doable. I’ve been able to go between typing and writing quickly which was what I needed. I also love the backlit keyboard — the ability to change the colors and the brightness is amazing. I love that even though this is compact, it’s still doable to adjust to ergonomically. The compact keyboard it’s too compact that typing feels off, I was able to quickly acclimate my muscle memory with the set up. I also love that it has a pencil holder on the side. All in all, if you need a cheap temporary solution for school or work, it’s to maximize the versatility of an iPad, this is a great start at its current price. Otherwise, I wouldn’t pay over $60 for it. I’d recommend finding something else that may be better quality.
