Minus Pad 8 120x20x0.5 mm 1 Pack Thermal Pad for GPU & RAM

Been using my 1TB WD SATA M.2 in my enclosure and the thermal pads that came with it were garbage honestly probably 0.5mm. Bought this to bring down temps. The good thing about my case was that I was able to apply some thermal pad the the top and bottom of the SSD with no problem and actually helped me screw the SSD down a lot fast so can’t complain. Excellent pricing for this SSD and the thickness is excellent for small enclosures or motherboard m.2 SSDs. With the amount they give you I was also able to apply some of the thermal pad to the enclosure controller and it fit in the enclosure with no gaps in the pad. Fixed the heating problems I was having. And was pretty durable when I had to reapply it compared to other thermal pad brands. The SSD is running at 35 degrees C while copying over 400GB of DATA to my NAS drive and my external drive.

Get the job done for my GPU Asus 2080 super 8gb version. Required 1.5mm 1.0mm 2.0mm

These thermal grizzly pads are awesome - high performers. They are more expensive for the size though so I bought this 120x20x1mm to apply to the high heat areas like the VRAM on the baseplate. I paired these grizzlys with a cheaper 1mm alternative with a lot more surface area to work with for the less sensitive areas and the backplate (the blue stuff in the image). The combo worked like a dream. These pads don't deform or elongate at all when removing the film, unlike the other brand I was using (AIYANNI). This made it really easy to apply and stay in place (and cut to precise rectangular areas) and just sticky enough! As far as the orientation, I would recommend FLAT side down on components and rough side upward because this will make it easier to remove baseplate in the future without tearing off pads since they will have a better adhesion to the PCB components. When it was all said and done, my card was 20 degrees C cooler!! This was at both resting and full-load. If anybody was worried about the different size of pads on this specific card, fret no more! 1mm is perfect for all areas! Just be sure to carefully cut and apply to the correct areas and components, and you're set!

I have always thought my PS4 pro (launch model) was loud from day 1. The day warranty was up, I pulled it apart to try and replace the thermal paste in an effort to drop down the temps, and by extension, the fan noise. I completely overlooked the thermal pads that time, and it is no wonder why it didn't quiet down a lot. After having enough of the jet engine sound when playing demanding games, I started to look at other ways to help cool it down. After checking for thickness, I decided to try and replace the thermal pads with something better. Upon closer inspection this time, it is amazing this thing could cool at all. The factory pads on the VRM's are maybe half the size they need to be, and weren't even aligned at the centers. Pads on the ram looked better size-wise, but were still not aligned. I purchased this, and it is just enough to get a PS4 pro done on both the VRMs as well as memory, with basically just scrap pieces to spare. Cut all pads to fit, and made sure they were centered when putting together. It is a night and day difference for me. Between this and my trusty MX4 thermal paste, she is running much cooler now! It still ramps up quite a bit under load, but it is at least a large step below Boeing 747 takeoff! Kind of spendy for the amount of material you are buying..but it works great, and I am super happy with the results!

I bought an ASUS G16 gaming laptop which came with an open M.2 PCIe 4.0 slot. I installed a WD SN850X, which is a double sided 4TB PCIe NVMe SSD. Being a dummy I didn't think to put any kind of thermal pads or heat sink. When transferring about 1.4 TB of files between drives I could feel the laptop getting warm and eventually I got a write error to the new SSD after about 900 GB. The drive had shut off and was no longer visible in Windows. I shut everything down and installed a few different programs to monitor HD temperatures and started the file transfers again. The drive would get to +90 C in a few minutes and would throttle at about 95 C. I shut this down and ordered the Grizzly thermal pads. When the pads arrived I tried to "copy" the pad thickness that on the OEM SSD (on the right in the first photo), with two layers of 1 mm pad on the bare part of the motherboard (second photo), a 1 mm pad along the motherboard-side of the SSD, then a mix of single and and double layer application the 1 mm pad on the side facing the bottom of the case so that it would sit flush with the case. The fit was perfect and easy to achieve. I began the file transfers again and the highest temps I saw (at a sustained rate of 1.6 GB/s between M.2 SSDs) was 71 C, with a stable temp of 66 C most of the time.

Its easy to use, it is delicate. But seems to work

I have a used Dell XPS M1530 laptop that I bought several years ago and my bad, I never replaced the thermal paste and pad after receiving it. I needed a replacement thermal interface pad for the CPU, the original being Silicone based. I wanted something better. This product was easy to trim and cut to the size of the heat sink surface. It has a double sticky side, and I wasn't sure if one side was prefered to face down or not, but I don't think it matters. The gap depth was 1 MM and that is what I ordered and it fit perfect. Since this laptop started to have constant high fan output I knew it needed to be checked. There was also a dust clog on the end of the fan assembly so I took the cover off of the CPU fan (four tiny screws) and used a clean, soft paint brush to clean it. Now the laptop runs quiet.

it comes wit protective layer on both sides , so u have to remove protective layer from both sides. The side with texture is easy to remove the protective layer , other side is without texture and I almost missed it

Ps4 pro went from jet engine to quiet as a tomb, put one on the hdmi chip too, makes all the difference.

This stuff is truly amazing, the cooling performance is really impressive and it's easy to work with. I use it on my laptop and electronics projects and honestly it's been great. When I got it out of the pack I was surprised at how cold it had gotten just sitting on my desk in a warm room. Will definitely be using this for future projects. Big improvement on thermals.

The Thermal Grizzly Pad was quite an interesting item to use for cooling down heat intensive devices such as the Playstation 4. It does look like a long stick of gum or a Laffy Taffy after opening up the sealed package. Both flat sides of the pad were stick onto a thin plastic cover for protection of dirt and debris. The plastic cover can be quite tough to mark any measurements without using a fine marker or a wet pen. Using a fine sharp tool, it can be cut into near to exact measured pieces for your project. In this project of mine for instance, I used it to help cool down my original PS4, replacing the stock thermal pads. After testing my PS4 out for few hours with the new pads, I've noticed quite a difference in cooling that help lessen the use of the stock fan, so it doesn't sound too much like a jet engine. I would use this product again to replace other heat intensive devices in the near future.

Bought from Scorpzon trading, received freshly imported, totally geniune product, when I checked the label, found that the seller Scorpzon is the official importer for thermal grizzly products in India, came in a resealable pouch, used it for my MSI gaming Laptop to replace the factory installed thermal pads. Works as advertised, easy to stick, don't forget to remove the protective film from both side of pad before installing.
