I decided to take a chance on this seller and ignore the bad comments. The device I received was in fairly good condition. The back had normal wear and tear along with some nicks, I thought I could live with that. The tablet charged faster than my phone which was a great sign. Also, the screen was intact. Unfortunately once I turned it on, I found my faith was not well placed. This is my first used Apple device and I will not buy used again unless I can test it before purchase. After using it for a short period of time my iPad went to sleep and then became unresponsive. I tried turning it back on several times, once it responded, I was able to use the tablet for all of two minutes at a time before it would crash. While trying to turn it back on, (each time) I received the low battery warning. Once the tablet finally powered on the battery life showed 79 %. I turned it off and the following day it’s below 20%. I hope that my return will be accepted.

The iPad exceeds my expectations. The battery is very powerful and lasts longer than my other iPads. The screen display is clear and runs very smoothly. Very happy about the purchase.

This is a great value! I have a surface pro and a Lenovo Chromebook so I bought this iPad pretty much just for digital art and the procreate app. I'm pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately I took off one star because like most others it came with a knockoff charger. It does charge the iPad but it is EXTREMELY SLOW! The battery was completely dead upon arrival and I plugged it in and it wouldn't turn on. I was nervous that I had gotten a dud. But it eventually got enough juice to turn on. I had to let it charge for a while before even attempting to set it up. It took hours to fully charge, but... other than the charger it looks and works great. No scratches, screen seems to be fine. I saw some people say that theirs wouldn't turn on, but I bet if they just let it charge for a while it would have turned on.

This 2016 model still performs great! Perfect screen quality and no lag. Shipping was incredibly quick.

I am a very discerning and quality conscious person so I was pleasantly surprised by the overall refurbished / renewed condition / quality of this iPad. In terms of function I have nothing to add or take away. It is as if it was a factory new item. Screen is mirror like and the shell is unblemished. It functions as it should and came ready to be set up. The battery was not fully charged but it took no time to recharge with the included charging accessory and so far it has held the charge. At this time I cannot say anything about battery condition as I can't seem to find the data on the percentage battery life used. For the price and in my opinion I think it is well worth the purchase.
