Great product
I needed a long run to connect a backup drive 30 feet from my Mac, and was skeptical until I realized it's a fiber optic cable with built-in ICs, designed for extended distances. That gave me hope, so I took the plunge. When it arrived, I was genuinely impressed. The build quality is gsolid, heavy, and meticulously finished, even down to protective caps on the connectors. It feels premium and well worth the price. Performance matched expectations: over 10 Gbps speed with smooth, issue-free backups. While long-term reliability remains to be seen, I’m confident this cable will last. For long-distance USB-C backups, this cable delivered excellent value. I'd buy it again without hesitation and probably will, as I reconfigure my office setup. Highly recommended.

Long, Fast, and Truly Plug-and-Play
I needed a long USB-C to USB-C cable for connecting a Logitech conference camera across the room, and this one delivered. The 33-foot length is perfect, and the fiber optic design ensures stable high-speed transfer with no signal drop. It worked right away — no adapters, no lag. If you need a reliable long-distance USB-C cable, this is a great pick.

Update not so great - Working ok at 10GBs for tethered shooting with the Canon R5
Update March 2024 - I've also ordered two Plenum rated cables for testing on two separate occasions and each time the wrong cable was sent. Have yet to receive the correct one. Update a few weeks later and after buying over a dozen of them. Lots of intermittent usb connection issues in the M1 Mac Studio. Works better than the USB A version. The new big issue of the USB C version over the A version is that the end of the cable gets damaged much more easily than the A version. The C connector needs to be heavier duty so that it doesn't bend and get damaged. The casing for the connector is just press fit and does not really support the connector much. It doesn't snap together or use glue to hold it together. Update a week later after running these cables in 9 photo bays. Went from 5 stars to 2 stars. These are working better than the USB A version of this cable but we have still run into sporadic issues and in one photo bay it's a big struggle to get these working, Ended up having to switch out to a standard USB C 15' Tether tool extension to get things working. The Tether Tool connected instantly and stayed connected while this fiber cable would connect when first plugged in but disconnected the second a picture was taken on the Canon R5. We've spent many thousands on the usb a and usb c version of these cables and it's disappointing that we are having so many issues. Using these cables in a studio space of over a dozen M1 Mac Studio computers and Canon R5s. We were using this same brand's USB A optical cable with the R5 for the last 8 months or so without issue but all of the sudden all of the usb A versions stopped working for tethered shooting. We have no idea why and are thinking that apple changed something with their USB management that killed them. Switched to the usb C version for the last couple of days and so far they are all working perfect.

It works with a PS5 controller 30' away.
Bought it on a whim to utilize my PS5 controller with my PC while 30 feet away. It works. I give it five stars bc it does whay it needs to albeit the price is a bit steep. But cheaper cords wouldn't transmit data or charge at that distance.

Doesn't work when connected to a usb hub/switch
This is the second optical usb cable I tried and neither worked as advertised. I needed a longer usb cable to connect a couple of HID to my computer. The devices HIDs , keyboard/mouse/10 key pad so none are high demand item and are perfectly happy with USB 2.0, 3.0, 3.1. The HIDs are connected to a locally powered hub/usb switch so power is not the issue. Once worked with a single device but not with the hub in line. I tried this directly and also via a 10 ft usb cable (usb c-c a-c) and both work fine. I also have it working via a cable creations 16 ft cable and that works fine but it doesn't work with the fiber usb cable. So something with these cable wont allow a hub on the "device" end.

Great cable
We upgraded our meeting room interactive display this week and decided to use a USB-C cable as the main connection since it supports touch functionality and AV extension in a single cable. What a great connector! We ordered this 33ft USB-C cable, and so far, it has been working flawlessly. It's a solid cable.

Great long USB-C cable
I recently purchased Jupiter's Pana 34 display for our conference room. It was equipped with a USB-C port, and my laptop only has a USB-C output port. A regular copper cable was not long enough for our room, so I tried this cable, and it works like a charm. Great product!

Looks like full speed
Haven't done any extensive testing just yet, but I know I have at LEAST 2.5Gbps of bandwidth(thats about how fas this drive transfers normally if just usb connected to my pc directly, given how steady the transfer speed is id say no doubt you will get the full 10Gbps or close on this cable. I am using it to run a hub in my theater room, so I can connect multiple game controllers or other usb devices to my computer on the 2nd floor, this cable runs through the wall to power my usb 3.1 hub, and is already MILES faster than my usb 2.0 over ethernet that I WAS using. While yes the usb 2.0 over ethernet does work, it's very slow, so anything other than basic game controllers would quickly over populate the line. Worth noting! It did cause a weird issue with a driver conflict on my pc, where it would show devices randomly connecting, then disconnecting and back every few seconds, quick google search to fix it tho, and I'm sure you can too. Build quality seems solid too!
