Bought it to extend a coiled cable to PC to a high power keyboard. Was initially worried that the expensive coiled cable wouldn't work due to the power drop with this extension (as the length would go over 3 meters). This worked perfectly (other extenders did not), and did not compromise the power draw at all. This is connected permanently now, with zero issues to report.

I got it for a friend so they don't have to move their Smart TV every time they want to plug something into the USB port at the back. Works like a charm.

Have this plus a 30cm pig tail into powered screen switch at 5m at getting 300Megabits/s writing and nearly 400Mbits/s reading doing casual testing with a USB SSD and using a 4K brio so very happy as much cheaper than an active cable.
