This was my first time buying Gochujang after trying it a few times in recipes I got from Goodfood and Chef's Plate... The taste is really good, you can taste the fermentation in it which is typical to that type of 'spicy sauce - Gochu-Jang'. The color of the product and taste will also develop as the product age after being opened, this is due to fermentation and totally normal, after a few months, I think it taste even better ! The spiciness is mild-medium, if you like spicy food that burn your mouth, you will not really find this spicy. It's mild but that's how it's supposed to be. If you like spicy food but you don't eat habanero for breakfast, then you might feel a little bit of heat from it. I suggest adding Siracha sauce to your gochujang mix if you want it to be more spicy. The thickness is great, I use it with mayo a lot to make spicy mayo for burgers, sandwiches, hot-dogs... anything really! One of my favorite recipe with gochujang is Korean BBQ sauce or for Bibimbap. It goes well with anything.

Tolle Paste zur Zubereitung vieler koreanischer Speisen. Ob in Marinaden oder Suppen, als topping oder Grundwürze für Eingelegtes, das Produkt ist vielseitig einsetzbar. Die Paste ist scharf aber hat dennoch einen feinen Eigengeschmack. Preis-Leistung finde ich persönlich angemessen.
