They are not shortbread cookies. The taste and texture reminds me a bit of the less sweet, smooth-textured animal crackers (not like the ones by Nabisco which have a rough crumbly texture).

Tasty but small.

I like McVities tea biscuits and I consume them when I’m in the UK; however I had forgotten that they were so much smaller than my favourite, Burtons rich tea biscuits. Keep that in mind when you are pricing and deciding which to buy. Burtons flavour is much better to me also.
