These curtain hooks are completely rigid plastic, so if your rail does not quite match the given measurements (in my case the 12mm diameter of the circular peg) then you may (as I found), have difficulty pulling the curtains in and out from the curtain itself - whilst it just about fitted inside the rail, I had to pull the actual curtain hook to get it slide along the rail. Some other curtain hooks work with a circular peg which rotates separately from the rest of the hook, making for an easy slide along the rail (these in my opinion are more flexible in their design compared to this model).
