I love it. Excellent quality, the keyboard is great, and it holds my smart pen too. I love that the keyboard is not attached and it is magnetic. Super easily convertible between ipad only, and full tablet/keyboard setup. Only "complaint" is that it's pretty heavy, but I think that's just between the ipad and the keyboard. but overall I highly recommend. Looks very high quality and professional too.

I don’t usually write reviews but I’m actually impressed. I bought this keyboard two and a half years ago, around spring 2023, and it surprisingly still works. The LED lights are still strong, I could leave it without charging for months and it will somehow still be alive when I turn it back on. All the keys work, Bluetooth works, I literally have no complaints. Totally recommend!!

I am writing this review using my new product, which is not easy due to a small problem. The shift key does not work for capitalization or for selection of the dollar sign, ampersand, etc. However the caps lock key works fine. The shift key works otherwise, for backlight brightness adjustment, etc. I paired the keyboard with an old iPad Air running an older iOS and the problem went away. Multiple other users reported the same problem after updating to iOS 13.1, using Dell or Logitech bluetooth keyboards. I don’t use the keyboard much or else I would have returned the product. Otherwise I am very satisfied with the product. It is very easy to pair and use, the touchpad has advanced features using iPad 9th gen, the stand is sturdy, and I like the way the iPad can stand up on its own even when you separate the magnetic keyboard from the case. Perhaps the only minor downsides: You need a flat surface to stand the iPad up in the portrait orientation, so it works best on a table as opposed to next to you on the couch, although the landscape orientation works everywhere with ease. Also there is a small tendency for your palms to trigger the touch pad while typing, although I am getting use to it. I deducted one star for the irritating problem with the shift key, but I feel like the manufacturer provided a good quality product that is a good value and they really could not prevent the issue, so a solid four stars.

This keyboard has been in use for about 18 months now, replacing a Logitech Combo keyboard that failed mechanically in the hinge, I suspect, and could no longer communicate with my iPad. For the price, the Chesonia keyboard is OK. From a usability perspective, here are my observations. For context, my prior Logitech Combo keyboard used the Smart Connector on the side of the iPad, so never had any wake-up delays: - The backspace button is too small. It needs to be closer in size to the caps-lock or return key. - The sleep timeout of 10 minutes seems too short. It needs to be either longer, like 20 min, or user-configurable. - The time to connect via Bluetooth is about 3 seconds. Combined with the 10 min sleep time, this delay gets frustrating. - The entire package including the case is pretty bulky and heavy. - The keyboard itself is pretty flimsy as would be expected at this price. - If you have had the misfortune of upgrading your iPad gen 9 to IOS 26, then the combined slowness of the iPad on IOS 26 plus the wake up delay of this keyboard will frustrate you to no end.

Product works how it’s supposed to, the case is great quality so works well to protect the iPad. The keyboard is easy to connect to the iPad and easy to use. It was for my 9 year old son who was wanting a laptop but already had an ipad so this was a cost effective way of doing it and he is able to manage using it without any problems. Delivery was very quick and arrived only a few days after purchasing.

I purchased this item for my grand daughter who wants to learn to type. It is a perfect size and is extremely good quality. It is very similar to a laptop keyboard. I cannot wait for her first lesson!
