DEEPLITE Battery Ceiling Light, 8000mAh Rechargeable Motion Sensor Ceiling Light, Wireless Shower Light with Remote, Bright Motion Activated Overhead Light for Closet, Bathroom, Hallway, Porch

I installed this in the downstairs bathroom shower that had no ceiling light and it works really good. It’s a very bright. Though it has three different light settings. You don’t have to use the bright white if you don’t want. The charge lasts a long time and it’s easy just to twist off bring down and charge and put back up. We need it. I really like it. and it sure is much less than having an electrician come in and run wiring and buy a fixture to put up. i’ve had it installed for about three months now it’s supposed to be waterproof and so far it still is working. For those of you that don’t have a drill or somebody to help you with it. I bought some heavy duty Velcro annd attached it to the ceiling and attached it to the base and put it up that way so no tools are actually required if need be.

ORIGINAL: I purchased this in Oct-2023 and until now, it was working fine, it probably came with full-charged battery. It got discharged recently and I tried charing through its accessary came with, I used different cable, different charger etc, basically tried all different ways to charge it, kept in charge for 7-8 hours as well, but it failed to charge. Product says it comes with 2 Years Warranty and need to email seller but there is no email address shared anywhere. UPDATE: I must say seller stood-by their warranty policy without any hesitation or asking any cross questions. Based on above issue, seller reached out to me and offered me Full Refund or Replacement. All communication went quite smooth and very quick. I choose replacement option as this product works great with great motion sensors, great light and last long (couple of months on single charge). I highly recommend this product mostly based on quality and after-purchase customer support.

Works great! Lots of light and plenty of battery life. The one thing I was worried about turned out to be no issue. I was worried to recharge the battery I would have to run an extension cord to the light, but I found out the light twists off from the mounting base like a fire detector. Twist off, charge, twist on. Easy Breezy! Highly recommend.

The motion detection only lasts for like 15 seconds before it turns off so if you’re not actively moving in the space, it’s dark again. I put mine in the garage so I’m typically in there looking for something on a shelf and they turn off almost as soon as I pause to read labels on the shelf. The remotes work well but I wanted the motion. I’d still probably buy them again. They were easy to install and work as described.

I absolutely love this light which is why I bought a second one for a different spot in my house. The light lasts for a while on one charge. I love that it comes with a remote that gives you different lighting options and easy ability to attach it to the wall/ceiling. It's a perfect size light for whatever space its being used in and the price of it is great. Which is why im going to be buying my 3rd one soon for my closet in my spare bedroom.

Great idea works well in the bathroom shower where it’s kind of dark but it will not stay charged very long. We barely use it and it has to be charged every other day. I have the same exact weight above my kitchen sink and we have had it for two weeks and never charged it so I’m not sure why the bathroom one does not hold a charge.

This light is bright, very responsive motion detection, and is easy to install/charge. I purchased this for my elderly grandmother and it surprised me. After one month, it still held its charge. I put it on the third setting so that it wouldn't waste too much charge and it activates probably over 20 times per day and still holds the charge. The brightness is really good at all three levels. Much better than what I expected. I had an issue with the remote and the seller was quick to respond and resolve any issue. Buy this with a great level of confidence! The product works amazing for a light that isn't wired.

Great addition to our shower area that had no lighting at all. And… we needed a light that was water resistant. Lighting options are great. Gives you three options. We use ours on automatic so that when we go in the bathroom it lights up and stays on when you’re in the bathroom or in our case the shower. Installing was very easy. I used a power drill, pencil and screw driver. It comes with everything you need to install, along with a few extra screws. We bought the two pack. Which worked great for us. While one is charging we can plug the other one up. A charge averages a week give or take. Charge time takes roughly 6 hours. So having two units was a fantastic option. We don’t use the remote control although the options that come with the remote are pretty cool. We just set it and forget it. This light does not heat up and is a fantastic value for the money. The two pack made it even better. The motion sensor works fantastic and is very sensitive. All in all this was a super good buy and well worth the money. You won’t be disappointed at all.

Recently, the remote control battery died which i replaced and now the light is not responding to the remote control. I am disappointed and hoping to contact the seller for assistance.

Where I live in canada, we tend to get an absurd amount of power outages throughout the year. Having a light like this makes a bigger difference than you might imagine. This light comes with some assembly required, but it's not overly difficult to assemble. The screws seem to be of decent quality so you can screw them into your ceiling or wherever you want to mount this light easily and the light itself is easy to put on and remove from the mount. This light takes a long while to charge. From dead to full it took between 7 and 8 hours to fully charge and from what I could see a full charge lasts somewhere over the 15-hour mark. I can only give an approximation like that as I started using it when I woke up and it died sometime after I went to bed. I left it on the whole time so I could give it a nice solid stress test. I did not expect it to last as long as it did, so the fact that it can give you a solid day of light is way more than I was expecting. The light also has a motion sensor and the motion sensor seems to work pretty well. I don't have an overly large kitchen, but it activates the moment I step within that range and stays on as long as I have some sort of movement of my body within the kitchen. After I get out of the sensors range, it turns off about 20 seconds later to preserve the battery. Of course, you can have it set up to always be on or you can use the remote to turn it on and off manually. Speaking of the remote, the remote will allow you to adjust the lighting color, the brightness, and even allow you to set up how long the light is on before it automatically turns itself off. I personally haven't had much use for the remote yet, but it's nice that it's there for those who want it. Overall, it's not quite as bright as I would have preferred, and it takes longer to charge than I was expecting it to. Those two minor issues are why I removed one star, but overall I still think this is a really solid light that is something everyone should own in case you ever have a power outage and you don't want to have to burn through flashlights. Since this charges with a USB type-c cable, you can also use a power bank to recharge it if needed, so at the bare minimum you can still have light, even during a prolonged outage. It can also work for camping if you need it for something like that.

I use this light in my bedroom at the entrance against the wall. Used the 4 screws into the drywall and mounted this up with ease. Provides adequate light for nearby activities and changes color from bright white to a cool yellow. It would be ideal if this could provide a higher volume of light for a medium room but otherwise it's ok.

I got two of these kinds of light around the same time, and as luck would have it we had a power outage for almost 5 hours a couple days after, these served as our dining light and washroom light during this time. This DEEPLITE light has a fairly thick profile. Installation takes a few minutes, but you only need to give it a turn to remove it for charging. Speaking of charging, it’s been installed for almost a month and has yet to recharge it since the initial charge. It is currently set to motion censored in our closet, which is great. The 20 seconds auto-shut off is perfect for this use since your not likely to stay still in a closet.

I got this for lighting our wardrobe, which had no light and shadows most of the ambient light from the doors. This provides excellent light, and due to the motion sensor, it doesn’t turn on until I open the doors, which helps save the battery life. This has seriously made a great impact on my dressing room. I absolutely recommend this to anyone else with similar needs!
