Greetings all; This is a phenomenal product. I spoke to Mr. Dennis Winsell about his product prior to use and related my concerns of deep facial scaring I received while in the Corps. I usually suffer from casual to deep cuts while shaving my face. My scar tissue is uneven, thick and difficult to see at certain angles. Mr. Winsell told me this product would help; it does. I am able to shave closely and quickly on and over my scar tissue on my face with no deep self inflicted lacerations which take time to clean and stop bleeding. A significant part of the product for me is my skin condition after I shave. It is smooth, yup just like a babies behind. My skin is not on fire after a close shave, it is smooth, pliable and desirable to touch. My wife says she likes how my face looks since I started using it. She says she has noticed a healthy difference. I am retired military and work as a contractor which means I travel light when I go to work. This product allows me to carry a minimal amount of shaving gear and get a very good shave, very fast. I can maintain a clean shaven face, no cuts, no additional gear such as alum-blocks, no shaving cream or badger brush. I used the product for three weeks And the product did extend the life of my razor. I got an easy three weeks out of it . The only criticism I have is when you rinse the blade off the oil goes all over the shower floor make it slippery. same applies for the sink requiring additional cleanup.Overall the benefits and cost savings outweigh the cleanup issue.

I don't want to stick this container to the shower or my wall, but it doesn't stay upright by itself. I've knocked it over twice and made a huge oily mess. Plus, I'm not certain what's so special about this oil over any other--such as regular, cheap mineral oil to seal out the moisture that rusts the blades. I don't know what I was thinking when I bought this "system." I now have the oil in a small coffee cup so it won't tip over, and once I've run out, I'm going to try straight mineral oil.

My Bottom line. The solution is oversold, claiming 1 months of shaves. This is not my experience. Further the solution is to heavy with oil. The holder is what I wanted and is adequate for my needs.The main reason why I bought the RazorGuard was for the included holder. I have learned that with the right solution my single sedge injectable razor could be kept clear of shaving oil build up and hair clots. The holder is the right size for this purpose. It is easy to tip over but your choice, use the attached glue strips to place in in a fixed location or keep it to the back of your shaving area by the wall. This is my choice and my recommendation. To glue it in place makes it hard to wash out.The included Solution is not to my liking. It is too oily. It does keep the razor clean, but it forms a heavy oily coating. This stuff does not seem to be sold without the holder making it a very expensive continuing cost.As for the claim that it will multiply the life of a blade. I do not think so. With or without it I get about a week to a blade and the last day is rough enough to act as a reminder.

Ok so here's the thing....this solution WILL dissolve and damage any of those little Aloe/Lubricating strips you have on your razor, but let's face it, if those strips actually helped you wouldn't be looking at something like this product!! My problem has ALWAYS been skin irritation and no matter what product I've used (shaving creams to aftershave balms) my skin still reacted badly...that is until i used this stuff! Using this has shown me that the problem has always been the blades themselves. I'm not exactly sure what's going on (perhaps the blades are storing bacteria? or maybe residue left on the blades for long periods of time actually damages the blades?) but using this product actually leaves my skin in a MUCH calmer state and keeps the razor blades themselves looking like new! I don't feel like i have to throw away a blade after a few uses to keep my skin in tact now.!!!!UPDATE!!!!!! Just received my 2nd bottle of this and found it has ZERO packaging on it. Additionally, the box was soaking wet as the product had spilled ruining everything (possibly tampered with?). I don't want to leave a bad review for this product but I didn't see a way to leave a bad review for the store that sold it. SO BUYER BEWARE!!

I went to the manufacturer's website and discovered that this item should turn blue when shaken. I do not believe that what I purchased is the actual manufacturers liquid.

First time I had used this, it was a refreshing experience. No cuts nor nicks, even under my nose. I was skeptical at first, but today with a first try was awsome. It also feels like shaving with a new razor. Inexpensive and easy to follow directions. Oh I use Gillette Sensor Excel. I had put my razor in the solution, while I was brushing my teeth. After that I had rinsed the razor out, then I had started to shave. Wo! Not one cut or nick below my nose or above my lips. Probably I might purchase more of the Razor Guard solution when I ran out. Highly recommend for people who hate buying razors all the time. Update: Its still going strong. No nicks no cuts. The solution had ran out, so I had went ahead and poured some more in the container that had come with the solution.

Nice product. Seems to keep my razors sharp but not a lot comes in the bottle. You get about 3 uses out of it. Not sure if it’s worth the price
