Geek & Gorgeous A-Game 10 0.1% Retinal Serum – High-Strength, Silky, Lightweight Anti-Aging Care for All Skin Types, Especially Oily & Combination, 30ml

A little bit of a premature review as I've only had this serum for just over a week, but even this early on I'm pretty blown away with the results! I've used retinal very recently on and off & my skin tolerated it ok, so whilst debating whether to start at 0.5% or 1.0%, after researching, I decided to go with 1.0% because of prior use of retinal and I don't suffer with sensituve skin. Very glad I did. The serum seems to be having an amazing effect fading my dark spots and pigmentation. My skin looks clearer and smoother already. I noticed a difference from the first use! So far I've had no sensitivity issues. The serum is clearly potent and I do feel a very slight sting immediately after application, but my tip would be to pair with a very soothing highly moisturing face cream to protect the skin barrier (I use Korean Madeca Centellian 24 cream in purple tube). Obviously it's also a non negotiable to have a very good SPF. I use Beauty of Joseon SPF 50 which is amazing. I honestly think the use of these 2 products has really assisted this serum in working so well so quickly, and has reduced any potential side effects. Over time I'd hope to see an effect on the lines on my forehead and continued improvement in overall skin texture/clarity. Maybe I'll edit the review over the next few months to update on progress. Then potentially upgrade to 2.0% if needed, but not for a while. I'd say be very careful if you have never used retinal before (start on the lower 0.5%) and make sure your skin barrier is not compromised. Also use SPF daily and invest in a soothing high quality moisturiser. So far I'm very impressed with this newly discovered brand, which is such good value for money & offers high quality performance. I am also going to try the C Glow Vitamin C serum from this brand too, which I've heard very good things about!

A very effective Retinal cream to smooth away the first sign of aging. After continuous application, the skin feels smoother, more supple and more even in tone. It also feels stronger and more elastic. The cream has a light, jelly-creamy consistency, it is odourless and it creates a light protective screen. The product is comedogenic-free. I always apply a hyaluronic acid serum as a first step at night when going about my facial routine, followed by the Geek & Gorgeous 0.1% cream, and then I use a regular moisturiser before going to bed. My skin is brighter and more rested in the morning and I can start my morning facial routine. I have not experienced any redness or discomfort. I will move on to the 0.2% cream in a little while.

Good retinal for sensitive skins. I apply it twice a week at night, avoiding the eye area, followed by a moisturiser after half an hour, and spf50+ with high UVA protection (from the Altruist) every morning. I started with another cream with 0.05% concentration, first once a week, then twice a week. I do not use any other exfoliant on my face and neck, but I had no problem with vitamin C and niacinamide serums applied the same days I use the serum- just not the same nights-. I avoid creams with fragrance, denatured alcohol, essential oils, other allergens, and comedogenic ingredients. The package is much better than the wasteful Medik8 crystal retinal. The effect on me was visible after 1-2 months, mostly on wrinkles and pore size, but not on my hyperpigmentation.

Reviewing after a few months. Initially purchased this to replace my go-to la Roche posay serum I previously used. This has been a great swap (retinol to retinal) - the price is more than half than what I would usually spend, works great for sensitive skin ( I didn’t have to ease in the product) and I personally use a full pump compared to the recommended pea size amount. The yellow colour of the serum was a surprise, but quickly melts into the skin without leaving behind any yellow tint and there is no scent. It has kept my skin as moisturised as other products I’ve used - so very happy!

Started off with 0.1% right away, but my skin is not really sensitive though prone to dryness. Didn't experience any adjustment period, dare to say the product started working from the first application. I have occasional acne, but if they come, it's 10 at the same time, and they leave red unattractive marks. Been using G&G for less than a month and the marks are nearly gone, they now look simply like little blood vessels. I was picking between this and Medik8, the choice fell on G&G, didn't regret for a second. I'm not sure how it works with textured scars, but will definitely help with post-acne marks. The most important is to apply a moisturiser after 15-20 mins, your skin will thank you, otherwise can provoke flakiness, which is not terrible but neither is preferable.

After a couple of years on tretinoin I switched to this because of the price and hassle of prescriptions. I was so surprised that this is actually much better. There is zero irritation, peeling or starter purge. My skin feels smoother and more balanced than it has in years, fine lines are reduced and freckles faded. I'd recommend this to anyone. My only gripe is having no way of knowing them you're about to run out, but after several purchases I've now worked out that with close to daily use it lasts 4 months. I use this in the evening after cleansing and follow with G&G Happier barrier moisturiser, then in the morning I apply Nivea spf50

I have seen such a change in my skin the past month of using this product. I started by using 2x a week for 3 weeks and for the last week I have been using daily and my skin is flawless. Don’t get me wrong, to begin with my skin was a bit dry around my cheeks and nose but I kept moisturised as much as possible and the occasional purging breakout but now, nothing. Blemishes if they do turn up disappear so quickly with this. The value for money is amazing, massive fan of this product

It’s okay formula is like a cream/gel like and seeps into the skin well. The formula is bright yellow but doesn’t leave a weird caste on the skin. Unsure about effectiveness thought haven’t seen it do wonders for my skin.

Pro Sichtbar glattere und gleichmäßigere Haut nach ein paar Wochen Wirkt stärker als die üblichen Retinol-Produkte Gute Textur, zieht sauber ein Perfekt als Anti-Aging-Serum, wenn man die Hautstruktur verbessern will Contra Man muss sich rantasten (erst alle 3 Tage → dann steigern) Nur abends nutzbar, tagsüber Sonne meiden bzw. SPF Pflicht Nicht geeignet in Schwangerschaft/Stillzeit Fazit Ein sehr effektives Serum, wenn man etwas sucht, das wirklich was an der Haut verändert. Wichtig ist nur, nicht zu übertreiben und die Haut langsam daran zu gewöhnen – dann klappt’s ohne Reizungen. Für mich eines der stärksten Anti-Aging-Produkte, die man ohne Rezept bekommt.

بعد شهر من الاستخدام اشوفه ممتاز، بس لازم يكون بالثلاجة، لكن النجمتين لانه وصلني بدون كرتون وبدون غلاف والغطا مفتوح ومرمي وسط ظرف الطرود، فما عجبتني ابدا طريقة الشحن رغم ان الشحن مو مجاني، لكن للامانة مو مبين انه مستخدم وما كان متسرب، لكن مو طريقة احترافية لشحن منتج تجميلي ويتأثر بالحرارة

Migliora visibilmente tono della pelle, compattezza e uniformità, la texture leggera e fresca la rende ottima anche anche per pelli miste o grasse, e lascia la pelle più liscia senza sensazione “pesante” o lasciare il viso con fastidiosa sensazione di unto. Formula molto rispettosa della pelle, no profumo e si assorbe rapidamente. Ottimo per chi vuole iniziare a costruire la tolleranza al retinolo.
