Police Squad: The Complete Series [Blu-ray]

Was a gift but sadly for someone who died a few months ago. Recently watched it with my friend in stitches laughing as it's so funny, a classic. You have to be in the mood, but if you loved the Airplane series with Leslie Nielsen, you'll love this ! Price good, delivery good.

This is so funny if you like the Naked Gun series of films this is what started it all. It's brillinat and funny and comes highly recommended.

Bought this for a young friend who didn’t even know there was a series.

Police Squad was the series that started it all. It starred the late Leslie Nielsen as "Sergeant Frank Drebin, Detective Lieutenant, Police Squad", which he often said in this show and in the three Naked Gun films which are equally entertaining and amusing. I bought the Police Squad series as a Father's Day present for my dad and he was very pleased to receive it as he already has all of the three Naked Gun films on DVD. I watched the series with him and we decided to watch the films again soon after finishing the series. This series, along with the films, was packed full of humour and my dad and I were absolutely crying with laughter while watching the series and the films. I had heard somewhere that a fourth Naked Gun film was planned. Although Leslie Nielsen was open to the prospects of acting in a fourth Naked Gun film, it now seems to be very unlikely probably because he died in 2010 at the age of 84. Overall, I would very highly recommend Police Squad and the Naked Gun trilogy as well, you won't regret it at all.

Si eres fan de los Zucker o simplemente de Leslie Nielsen es un acierto seguro. Si pudiera poner una pega es el idioma de audio, pero como JAMÁS EXISTIÓ EN CASTELLANO, pues es lo que hay. Lo de que el titulo en audio y por escrito de cada episodio no coincidan no es un error, es así cómo se hizo. ¡Tarára-rára! ¡Tarára-rarará-rará!

In case you are disappointed that there are no more comedies like Naked Gun, Airplane or Hot Shots… this is a treasure trove! 6 episodes of Frank Drebin prior to Naked Gun. I never saw these and was afraid that all jokes of this series would have been reused in the movies. I was wrong. These episodes are original cases with many fresh, visual gags. A must have if you enjoyed the movies.

Nice tv show. Still love until this day this kind of comedy. Leslie Nielsen was a really great choice for this show.
