Very informative, great for teachers
I needed this book for one of my college classes, and it is by far one of the best books I have needed to purchase. There are so many resources in it, and I refer back to it all the time. Everything is well organized and clearly labeled, making it easy to find. Highly recommend for anyone studying, interested in, or teaching early literacy!

Homeschool resources
As a homeschool mom this book as been a game changer! It is like going back to school myself. I really appreciate how detailed this book is and how with reviewing and reading this book put spelling is improving.

Supports and informs good teaching
This is a wonderful book that really gives a great over review of the WHY and HOW to teach reading. I was never bored and highlighted most of the book.

Great resource!
I bought this as a replacement for the 3rd edition i had borrowed from a colleague and had used it to death! I am a Title 1 reading instructional aide, and there are times my brain just won't come up with the words I need to teach a certain phoneme or phonetic skill. I used her book until I broke the spine from overuse.
