I will say the one thing we had to figure out the first two nights was that our top sheet (100% bamboo) was not the right fit. We both still woke up hot. I also live in the desert where our daily temperatures consistently reach a high of 104°. Even with the AC, ceiling and tower fans, a bed with temperature controls and "cooling sheets", I was still not cool enough at bedtime, (but my poor hubby was nearly freezing). This comforter is magical. The fabric is smooth and and a bit on the silky side, so it can sometimes slip off the bed. The weight is perfect for me, but may be a bit heavy for people with sensory issues. The size, (King Size) fits my bed perfectly and covers well. This comforter is essentially like constantly having the cool side of your pillow without having to flip anything. It's not an inexpensive purchase, but it's a true investment in getting a good night's sleep... to me, that's priceless. Highly recommended!

**Q: How is this comforter during the cold winters months?  Does it keep you warm?**
A: I haven't used it in the winter yet. I found that It starts out cool and sometime in the middle of the night, it has trapped my body heat and I am too hot. I have reverted back to my light weight cotton blanket. I think polyester doesn't breathe.

**Q: will the king size fit a cali king?**
A: Yes! The King/Cali King-Size Comforter is 106"x90" large, which will fit well with a cali-king, leaving you a beautiful drape on each side.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Actually keeps me cooler!

I am a naturally hot sleeper approaching perimenopause. I am quite used to waking up in a pool of sweat. I have tried all the cooling solutions. Bamboo or tencel sheets and blankets. "Cooling" foam mattress toppers. Q-max whatever. I was very skeptical, and assumed this would "work" about as well as all the others -- which is to say, feel cool at first, then heat up quickly and radiate heat back to me. Nope! Somehow, not with this one! I really do sleep cooler. I no longer wake up coated in sweat. I no longer need a fan to sleep comfortably. This thing is amazing! The queen sized fits my queen size mattress nicely, and it's super soft! I really cannot recommend it highly enough, especially if you, like me, are disappointed every time you see something advertised as "cooling" only to find out it radiates all your body heat back at you. This comforter makes me excited to curl up in bed! Just one tip: as another reviewer suggested, take the top sheet off and curl up directly under this thing directly.
