I'm going backpacking and thought about bringing one of these along. It would take a relatively small amount of fuel for what would be a luxurious and fast dinner. It's too big for two people, but if one were to split into two ziplocks, it would be about perfect. I test-drove a pack for taste. It's really good. A bit salty—which is what you crave in the hills—so I diluted with more water. It's the next best thing to instant and tastes amazing. Be sure to whisk mixture into pot to avoid clumping.

I love Bear Creek soup mixes. They are a staple in my pantry. Great flavor. This Senior appreciates having an easy menu daily. Add a can of veggies and it is a meal. I usually freeze half for future eating. Highly recommended.

Good flavor, but could be less expensive.

unlike canned soups that destroy the texture of vegetables in the canning process, starting from a package of dry, I was able to control the texture of my vegetables to perfection! Major bonus there! I used 7 cups of water instead of 8 because i didn't want the broth to be too light, figured i could add that last cup if it needed it. It didn't . 7 was perfect. Didn't have to adjust any seasonings. The broth is delicious. I highly recommend this product.

Great product quick and easy to fix. I usually make it with a pound of elk, Can of diced tomatoes, And small Can of rotel. This is on the Bland side But at least the opportunity to put anything you want to give it a stronger flavor. This mix gives you a solid half a gallon of mix meat and vegetables. You can also add stuff to the mix but if you do the mix may be pretty thick Quick and easy it takes about 25 minutes to fix I have not tried the soup straight out without the meat but sure it would be a base mix for anything you want to add to that for extra flavor Jim
