Prepare to have your senses delighted..... <3
Another raving review for a sensational product---yes, I do believe this item has earned it! WOW! The aroma and flavor is buttery and makes you think of Sunday morning breakfast---specifically, pancakes! I actually love this brand (I have been collecting a variety of their flavors so far)! I use this specifically in my maple cupcakes with a crispy bacon strip as garnish, and in my turtle cupcakes. My customers love these flavors and I am convinced that if I used a different brand I wouldn't get such glowing reviews on those flavors of cupcakes! I have tried so many brands of extracts it is almost sad to see how much money I have waster with mediocre products--this one is simply not one of them! I open the bottle and my kitchen fills with this almost fall like aroma. I think I am in love with this maple flavor---it doesn't smell like chemicals like many other brands do (you know what I am talking about, that disturbing artificial odor many flavorings carry---the one's that you think to yourself, Jesus, what I am ingesting?!) I would highly recommend the Frontier brand, and specifically this divine maple flavor! YUM! Did you find my review helpful? Click the YES button :-)!

Nice Flavoring
This does taste a little different than I was expecting, but since I've never had 'real' maple syrup, I figure that is to be expected. I've been adding this to pecan and pumpkin pies, homemade waffles, cakes, and cookies and it just seems to perk up the flavor. I've added it to a can of Bush's Baked Beans for a little change. I've even lightly brushed this on bacon I was baking in the oven. It's fun to see what I can add this to, as it's a very rounded flavor. It's not going to change the flavor of whatever you're using it in dramatically, just enhance it.

Bad Formula!
We have purchased this bottle before and it was great for making homemade syrup. This bottle is awful!! There is no maple flavoring! It smells almost like acetone! I wasted all of my syrup ingredients because I didn't smell the bottle first. Of course I also missed the return window so it is going in the trash. Other reviewers say they've had the same results so it is probably not just a bad batch. I'll have to find another brand since my children prefer homemade syrup over store-bought.

Good for maple-flavored syrup
My husband is a fan of maple syrup. He douses it on waffles, pancakes, french toast. So in our family, we go through it pretty fast. But as you know, maple syrup is pretty expensive. So I wanted to make my own maple-flavored syrup that tastes pretty great and he will enjoy. My recipe is as follows: - 1 cup white sugar - 1 cup brown sugar - 1 cup water - 1 tsp maple flavor I just boil the sugars and water in a pot for a few minutes until it thickens, then stir in the maple flavor. According to the maple syrup connoisseur, no, this is clearly not maple syrup that I tapped from a tree. But he does admit that this is one of the best tasting syrups he's had.

Just buy it!
Didn't know if I would like it or not but it was resonable and I gave it a try. Much better than my go to brand for the last 40 yrs. I bake a lot. I love the smell and it ups the flavor of anything with brown sugar. Remember to use sparingly (1/4 tsp...depending on taste). I cannot use a lot of butter lately due to LDL. So I make a spread for toast or foods i use to put butter on like sweet or baked potatoes, veggies, etc. I use 1/2 c. Salted Butter, 1/2 cup lite olive oil, 1/2 tsp of a butter ext, 1/4 tsp maple flavoring. Mix it up well till nice and smooth and keep in fridge. It never turns rock hard. Of course it cant compete with real butter, but I have chosen to put my health first. Cutting the butter spread with the lite olive oil has more health benefits than all butter

Gives that maple scent while letting you choose your own sweetener.
Tastes great! Different than what I bought years ago. It's now clear instead of dark.

really good!
I used this in an apple pinhead-oats recipe, only 1 tsp, went a long way. Gave my morning oats a wonderful warm maple undertone. If you add brown sugar or stevia with cinnamon and nutmeg along with the 2 chopped granny smith apples, it is a healthy breakfast that will keep you going all morning. 1 tsp of this maple flavour was enough for 1 cup of uncooked oats, 1 cup water, 3 cups almond milk (I like creamy oats), a dash of salt plus the ingredients I already mentioned. I recommend making it all overnight in the slow cooker-8 hrs on low- and you will wake up to a lovely smell in the kitchen! I used the pinhead oats for the slow cooker otherwise normal oats get too mushy.

This works amazingly well
Coming from Canada, I couldn't believe the prices of exported syrup to Spain. This works amazing well with 2/3 brown and 1/3 white sugar, cover with water, and 5 cap fulls of maple flavour.
