**Q: How big is the base?**
A: The base measures 6 3/4” x 7 1/8”. I must say great tool! Good luck

**Q: Is the shaft replaceable?**
A: I have not replaced it, but it looks like you can

**Q: Drilling depth?**
A: Measures about 9-1/4” from the jaws of the chuck to the bottom surface of the base.  Would be 1/4” more or less if you used a larger/smaller diameter bit.  So let’s just say max drilling depth 9”.

**Q: Are centering pins included?**
A: Yes, centering pins are included.

Pricy but does a great job. With your drill installed it’s a little top-heavy so getting the drill bit close to the material at the start is helpful. This drill guide is made well and the operation is smooth. You cannot beat the drill accuracy for those projects that are too large or awkward for a drill press.
