One Touch Thumb Control Valve

As you would expect from Dramm, this valve is very good quality. The thumb valve is just right, not too loose and not too stiff. They have used solid materials, so I expect a long life, however, solid materials does mean it may be a little too heavy for some uses, especially long duration use.

I was hoping to get a second one of these  Dramm 22730 Touch N Flow Pro Full Flow Shut-Off Valve , which I like a lot, but isn't readily available anymore. Unfortunately, this newer ball valve model has such a small opening that it significantly restricts the water flow. At the lever's maximum "ON" position, the circular opening is only about 1/4 inch in diameter. Consider that you're driving this valve with a typical 5/8 inch or even a 3/4 inch garden hose, and that's a big deal. On top of that, at the maximum "ON" position, the opening isn't even fully open; the ball valve's edge takes a bite out of the side of the opening (see photo). I use a valve together with this  Dramm 11000 1000PL 11 GPM Plastic Water Breaker Nozzle , which is intended to deliver a lot of water without a lot of force. This new valve defeats much of the purpose.

This is a well made solid shut off nozzle for sure but it does restrict the water flow. Im keeping it but if it didnt restrict or even increased I having a larger ball valve is it would be amazing. I still need to try it on my front yard hose which has more pressure.Turns out my unit was not drilled out from the manufacture the ball valve part. I drilled it out and its better

This low flow handle valve is replacing another that has become stuck due to hard water. These provide perfect control for our bonsai water wand that needs gentle low flow.

Very durable and easy to operate. They just have such a tiny ball valve inside that it restricts the flow a considerable amount. One of these in a full flow version would be great.

So far so good. I like the ease of shut off. However, it might have started to have a small leak.

Bought 2. One completely broke. The other do not work well due to on/off valve leveler not staying in place and inadvertently turns of valve. Both end up in trash.I bought this cheaper item from amazon and it works very well ("Melnor 65087-AMZ EZ-Flow Control Valve with 2 Hose Washers Set, 1-Way").Stay away from this!!!

Comfortable to hold and adjust with my thumb. I'll definitely buy another when needed.
