Hi does this work for a Samsung laptop?

Should work on any laptop with USB port if it works at all. The one I received would not work whatsoever!

This will not work on my mac? i have tried everything to make it work and it doesn’t show up.

This kind of unit works best on a windows based laptop. Newer systems will be able to pick it up right away. Others will net drivers or dvd player ect from your app store. It will not work on a Chromebook or Chromebox. It might work on an Apple with the right drivers or apps downloaded from your app store.

can this be connected to a tv set?
