Loaded Boards Vanguard Bamboo Longboard Skateboard Complete

Bought this as an upgrade from my Atom board and although it’s more expensive it’s been well worth the money. The deck is fantastic and super flexible, (make sure you choose the correct deck for your weight) the Paris trucks are very responsive and the Orangatang wheels are truely amazing. The Atom is a great board but the Loaded Vanguard is several notches above! This is not a down hill speed freaks choice though, this board is totally for cruising, carving and slopes. It surfs. Can’t recommend this more highly!

I hesitated to drop this much on a longboard when I haven't skated in years. This board is flawless! I was a bit worried about how much it flexed when I stepped up, but no worries that just makes it carve even better. It's so much fun that now my daughter and son both want one.

This board easily has the most flex I’ve ever seen. I weigh 160lb and wasn’t sure which board I should get because I felt I fit in the middle of all the sizes. Flex 3 turned out great, it has a lot of flex but not enough to hit the ground on my bear trucks and 1/8 riser pads.

Outstanding longboard! It really is a carving system. The flex 3 deck allows for smooth and responsive carves that work in conjunction with the Paris trucks. Along with the Otang Kegel wheels and this board is an absolute monster truck. Not only that, the vanguard deck absorbs the shock from rough terrain. This board truly reminds me of snowboarding (which is what the board is modeled after). I would definitely recommend for fun carving and commuting.

Great board! One of the things that weren't clear when i bought this deck was that it comes with "grip tape" already on the top. I was hoping for a non gripped deck so i could customize. The deck has a clear glass spray on top that acts like grip tape. To change, you need to sand down and then add your own grip tape if you wanted to do that.

Other then paying almost 200 bucks for a deck that is already scratched up when I open the package the deck is amazing. I'd say it's employees not caring about what they are packaging so they aren't careful. Pay 200 bucks for a deck it shouldn't come scratched all up.

I used this board to make a boosted-like eboard. Saving money on a great deck felt good. In fact the factory blemish was covered buy an enclosure anyways! Went for a Flex 2 over Flex 3 Boosted uses because I ride at or above 25mph frequently. Feels like surfing the street!
