I love this cassette to mp3 converter! It's so easy to use and it works great. I have a lot of old cassettes that I wanted to digitize and this device did the job perfectly. It has a USB port that connects to your computer and a software that lets you record and edit your mp3 files. The sound quality is amazing and it preserves the original charm of the cassettes. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to revive their old music collection.

The quality is monstrous. I have replaced the product. The sound floats again (I checked the cassettes on other devices - the tape is normal). The first player the speaker did not work. The speaker was working now but quickly turned off and doesn't work now. When the device is turned off, the batteries are completely discharged. It cannot be used for digitization in any way. I'll return it tomorrow. Of course, there are no complaints about the seller; they delivered quickly. quickly replaced. But they should not work with these products. I am very sorry because I am really looking for a good stereo player.

I have been through a few of these, but only from overuse. I use them to digitize old computer programs and tapes.This current model has been updated to USB C which is quite welcome, as I needed to keep a USB Micro cable around just to use it.One thing people might not realize, is that you don't need to put in batteries. Something I hadn't realized for a while. It pulls power from the USB-C you plug in to do the digitizing!When and if I kill this one from overuse, I will buy it again for sure.

I found an old box of cassettes from the 80s and couldn't wait to see if they were still playable. I received the player quickly and have been very pleased. It is easy to use and the sound using the ear plugs provided is great. For the price you can't beat it.I've converted a tape and it worked but there are many options so I'll need to play with it a little more to get the most out of it.Very pleased with the purchase.

Why would you want a detachable speaker that doesn't produce sound. The speaker is garbage - it doesn't work - it only makes it deed a bigger space for storage. I would just detach it and throw it away, but that leaves open holes where dust can get into the machine. I did not buy it as a player to listen to, so I will keep it as it does connect to the computer for digitizing my tapes and the headphone jack does work if I want to listen just like the old one I have been using for several years. I am finally down to my last 100 or so tapes and dropped the old one on the floor - it shattered. Also a little disappointed that there is no place for a battery for stand alone power as the old one had in case I did want to use it simply as a tape player. All in all it is much sturdier feeling than the old one, but lacking some features.Update: The seller reached out to me to offer a full refund. I replied that I did want the refund, I will update again when that does or does not come through

This is really cool. I’ve kept some old cassette tapes from music I used to listen too. I bought this because my son (3 years old) broke the cassette player I had, so I looked online to buy a new one because I like to listen to them from time to time and I came across this. I was actually impressed that I can actually upload them from my cassette to my laptop I even got a cool playlist going on now and whenever I want I can listen to my songs. It was pretty simple to use. I just read the instructions and it walked me step by step on how to do it and I was able to get it done. And I’m not a techie person so that should say something but yeah I’m happy that I bought it. It was a great buy and it saved my old school playlist

I have many cassettes that are not available on CD or other digital media. I have been getting around to finding a service to transform them. Last week I started contacting different services, and they wanted $20 to $25 PER CASSETTE! With more than 100 cassettes to convert, this was way out of bounds. I then found this cassette player to do the conversion. Since I am retired, I have plenty of time to work on this project.It took a couple of tries to figure out the Audacity software settings, but now it is working smoothly. The speaker on the player gives the added benefit to listen while I convert. All in all I am quite happy with this player.

Pretty disappointing noise ratio compared to other players using the same pair of good headphones. The max volume is rather weak when listening on any headphones I've tried.The detachable speaker makes it awkward to hold, carry, or set down on a table. The speaker itself is basically unusable, producing very little sound that's 90% white noise. Removing it leaves openings in the back of the device which seems like a poor design choice (see my pic, and note that the product pics don't show exposed circuit boards).Between the awkward detachable speaker and fact that it is very sensitive to any movement, this is not really portable like a Walkman style player. Some parts are also flimsy as a result of fitting everything into a small form factor, but that seems kind of pointless considering you can't really use this as a portable player.
