It’s large enough to cover my back and if I want to concentrate on a smaller area of pain I can easily fold the pack and have the ice pack work on smaller areas of my body. I love that this pack is relatively thin allowing it to be placed on your back and still be able to comfortably sit on a chair while getting pain relief. The gel itself has stayed cold for me for over two hours and the ice pack gets re frozen in less than 2.5 hours! I had to reach out to the company as I had a question about the ice pack and the service that I received was in incredible! It’s awesome to see a company like this care about their product even after the sale. The color is black and the fabric used can be washed off with a sponge easily. The ice pack itself when not using takes such little space in the freezer that it’s ready to go when needed.
