woks well and better than the smaller wire extenders but they do not last as well They do work well and certainly are less expensive than new shirts

This is a terrific item to add to your wardrobe! It will give you extra room on your collar and is not noticable! It gives me that little extra room and comfort without sacrificing the look and style of my dress shirts! A gentleman always wants to look his best, on the job or at social functions,the extender will give you that confidence as it does me! Excellent product I recommend to anyone who needs a little more room in those choking collars! Thanks Amazon for carrying this! A Four star product!

I never write reviews on Amazon, but the quality of this item has been so poor, I couldn't resist. The first button extender I used lasted about a week and then ripped in half. The second one (they come in a pack of three) has lasted just about that long and will likely rip soon, too. If it's not clear on the website, let me inform you that the material connecting the button extender to the shirt is a mesh-like cotton substance which doesn't appear to hold up when used frequently. I should have gone with my gut and purchased the metal or plastic versions of this helpful accessory, but I thought I would give it a try. I wish I didn't. Pay a few extra dollars and upgrade to a better product!

I purchased these just in case I needed a little help since my collars are getting a little tight. It is a lifesaver if you need it. But I wouldn't recommend these for long term use. I agree with one of the other reviewers that they may last about a week each with everyday use. If you are looking for a long term solution, then I would get one of the more expensive metal ones.

The extension part is made of cotton fiber. I put the first one on, made a "doubt" face that happens to flex my neck and it ripped. I hadn't even gotten a tie on yet. Go for the metal ones.

OK, but not great. They go on with just a little trouble, you have to do it in front of a mirror (not a big deal, I expected that) and they do make the collar a bit wider. But .. if you don't have the necktie tied tight, it's easy to see that there are collar extenders, and it's easy to see the top button is not completely buttoned. So sort of a mixed review. If it's the only way you can get the top button closed, well, sure, this is what you need. You'd probably be better off, though, getting a shirt with a collar a half size bigger.

These work perfect on a shirt collar that just slightly tighter than when you first bought the shirt. Works great and is durable and worth the purchase.

They work as anticipated. I'm concerned about how they will hold up but I think overall a useful product.
