DSD TECH MagicConn SH-CP12A USB Type C PD to DC Power Cable-12V

Been using this for a few months now without issue, works great and output exactly 12V even under significant load. Make sure you have a suitable PD usb-C charger before purchasing!

When I got the item (12V type) I plugged it into an ipad charger and measured the voltage, it only gave me 9V, I thought I had been sent the wrong item! But turns out the ipad charger does not support 12V so it was producing max 9V instead, so double check the output voltage before plugging it into an expensive device! Intuitively I would have expected it to give nothing instead the lower voltage of an incompatible charger. Otherwise, given a suitable charger, has been working great for me powering wifi router, ethernet switch, etc

Super handy item. Have used it to power Elecraft KX1 ham radio when camping.

It works, used it for multiple devices with no issues. Just wish it was a little longer

Works for its intended purpose, but seems to negotiate 9V if the charger doesn’t support 12V, which to me is unexpected behaviour. I wouldn’t feel safe using this without a USB-C meter attached inline to check the voltage.Polarity is not indicated anywhere but the inner part is positive.You can use it to charge a Shark fan.

Works with MPC One+ and PowerDelivery 65W serving stable 12V 3A to my groovebox. Recommended!

I ordered about 4 of these cables and every single one broke within a few weeks. The USB-C connector is built very poorly and feels extremely fragile. Unless you plan to plug it in once and never touch it again, don’t bother buying this.The USB-C end keeps coming loose, it looks like it was just pressed in without any real support. After a few normal uses (plugging in and out), the entire silver USB-C tip simply falls off the cable.

Good quality, although it is more expensive than similar products available locally. The alternatives here do not offer the same performance or build quality.It provides a 12 V output, for a 12v variant, when used with a compatible power bank or adapter. However, when connected to a non-compatible device, the output is limited to 5 V.

Works, and seems like a very well built product that should last. The reason I wanted to write a review though was because of the awesome little adapter they included that I didn’t even notice in the pictures. It lets you hook up any 2 bare wires to it without having to strip the barrel connector off. Really brilliant work guys, keep being geniuses!

I ordered this cable to connect a 12v led strip to a power bank. This led strip was came with a AC/DC transformator to wall plug, but i wanted to connect it to a power bank so i needed this cable to trigger 12 v from the power bank and support above 30 watts to give enough power to the led strip. This cable was the solution, he is negotiatin the 12v with the power bank and the led strips are working.
