I have looked for a replica Marlin Brando helmet for a while and saw this one. I expected it to be more of a costume piece rather than an actual helmet. I received it and it was actually rated for real bike riding. The quality is fantastic and design is representative of a vintage biker helmet. I was singing flight of the valkyries as I rode my bike. It fits perfectly and the comfort is great snug and padded. Getting use to the chin strap was different but once you get use to it no problem. The goggles were a little dark but functional and no complicated adjustments just get the right size and it is easy. For the price it is great with or without the goggles. Want a vintage looking helmet that is safe then this is the one. Recommended for anyone interested in it just be aware in the summer it gets hot. I actually had a bike accident and it protected the back of my head from a metal pipe when I wiped out. I had to make a sudden turn to avoid a vaping guy on his phone in an suv and the worst injury was road rash on my arm and torn pants. This helmet protected my head from possibly being split open so it resulted in my neck being sore from the impact but nothing serious. You want it get it I did and it did its job and no scratches just watch out for distracted drivers and enjoy. I was in another hit and run from a distracted driver and hit my head with a more serious impact to the pavement and it saved me again I had to pull myself from under the bike and because of the inner lining I was not in a daze. I pulled myself out before the driver continued running over my bike. Now it has a scuff mark because it was a significant impact this helmet now saved my life again and legs from being crushed. As for distracted drivers with SUV’s stop ignoring your surroundings and use your signal lights. This helmet is way better than my expectations. I can’t praise it enough at this point.

Goggles sre sort of functional, at least for my purposes. They are pretty cheap feeling though, so if you are going to use them. I'd suggest upgrading those at some point. Actual helmet fits pretty well, looks good, feels good. I'm really happy with it. The quick release strap is convenient for fast, easy, on and off.

Looks, feels, packaged, priced, all great! Goggles are functional, however probably more for looks rather than use, build quality is good, fits good, lightweight feels comfy when worn, comfortable for an around town cruise, however when on the highway, the wind causes the helmet to tilt backwards, at higher speeds. Overall, good purchase.

Nice helmet but the buttons are from Texas? Unnecessary and minute detail for a cool bike helmet.

The helmet fits well. This is the first chin strap with this kind of closure. I like it. Easy on/off. There’s a wrap for the strap to protect you chin from chaffing. I can see that getting lost. Once I’m satisfied with the fit I’ll get my patch shop to run a stitch on it. The goggles fit over my glasses but I feel they’re ornamental. I’m not a fan of the look but others may be. I haven’t tried it out on a long ride in the Texas heat yet but feel like it’ll let plenty of air flow through. Scale of 1-10 without a ride. A solid 8.5 I’ll re-evaluate after some wind time.

2xl was way too small for my head. It was damaged when I received it. Unfortunately I'm busy, and couldn't return it on time. Being as small as it is, it might work for other people. I'm 6'2" 255lbs. Definitely not large enough for me, and was damaged when I received it. Beware before purchasing.
