Arranging Things

I have been reaching for this book over and over. It is stunning and just full of beautiful inspiration. It is also a lovely color on the outside, making it perfect to display on your coffee table or book shelf.

I found myself captured and indulged in this book. It plays with shapes, objects, textures, and layers. I love how decor can be artful and express emotions and feelings. It can pull you in and take you on a journey if you allow your imagination to explore. I'm glad I purchased this insightful book.

The book is beautiful however it arrived with scuff marks and little damage to the corner. Requested a replacement and received the following day 🙌

I wanted to love this more. It just didn't have what I was looking for. Beautiful book but it showed the same things over and over and more artistic than practical.

I very much enjoyed perusing this beautiful volume. The books' size, paper quality, printing, photography, and the author's commentary combine to provide a very appealing view of the "stylist" philosophy.I too have been a "stylist" since childhood ( I always thought of myself as "an arranger")...I'm 79 now and still enjoying the rewards and pleasures of the stylist's art utilizing the common object or the unique collectible to enhance the beauty and appeal of my environment.The author's brief but encouraging commentary doesn't give formulas or directions but encourages you to look more closely. Suggestive photography provides inspiration but one criticism...the captions describing the photos are very small and printed in a light color, very difficult to read. That said, this is a highly recommended volume and I will be returning to it with pleasure.
