Giving it 4 stars simply bc I haven’t used it yet. But the color is beautiful it seems like a sturdy/durable bag, love the two ways you can carry it. There’s two different insulated sections, plenty of zippers and pockets. I love everything about how it looks. Will come back with updates after use.

I used this bag for an outing with two kids under three to replace my two diaper bags at great wolf lodge. We were there two days. The first day the zipper on the bottom half must’ve been a little open and when running after the older toddler it came undone and dumped everything out. Very inconvenient but technically user error. I ended up grabbing a diaper bag from our room in edition to this backpack because I wanted to ensure that didn’t happen again. Since then I haven’t used it, it’s been stored in a closet with other bags and backpacks. I just took it out for a day trip to Manhattan and while sizing the straps notified an extra long strap that I couldn’t place. On further inspection the seam came undone inside the top pocket. It caused the majority of one shoulder strap to be disconnected and it totally let loose one handle strap on one side (causing the extra long strap). There are no visible signs of wear and tear the backpack looks brand new. You can see the holes where the thread just came undone. I’m super disappointed. Purchased September 2024, and used once and I’m not accomplished enough as a sewer to correct.

It looks great and I can’t wait to use! I didn’t find the bottle opener in any pocket, so that’s the only downside.

I wanted an insulated bag to take for a picnic. I didn’t want a shoulder bag because they end up hurting after a while. I love the colors of the bag and the way it was designed. I was able to pack a lot of items and it did keep my cold items cold for a good while. I would recommend take a full sized ice pack a lot with the ones that come with it. They did a good job, but it would be a more beneficial idea for a larger one if you’re planning to be out for a long time.

This has been a great backpack. It's a decent size, durable, and I've had no issues with it. The zippers work great. For those reviews saying that the zipper isn't waterproof, well, duh. I use the lower compartment for drinks and ice packs, and usually get about 10-12 drinks comfortably in there. The waterproof liner works perfectly fine. If you're stupid enough to put ice straight into the compartment, don't set the bag down on its back, or I'm sure it will leak thru the zipper, because zippers don't hold water, and ice melts. Once again, a-duh, just in case you didn't get it the first time. I tend to use the upper compartment for more dry-good type foods, but it too is insulated with the waterproof liner. It has plenty of extra pockets including a couple bottle holders on the sides for your active beverages. I like the handle situation. You can carry it by them like a tote, or you can link them together and strap it down the back to have a more traditional backpack handle. The security pocket on the back is nice to help conceal some of your more valuable items and make them harder for someone to lift. I bought this for day use at amusement parks and the beach. I went with the blue/green/cream colorway because I like the combination. I also like the mesh liner for your back because it allows it to breath and your back doesn't get too sweaty. I haven't had a chance to try the ice packs that come with the backpack, but they seem like a cool idea, you have to soak them in water and then freeze them once they absorb the water. I'm assuming it's using those diaper beads. Overall, I would suggest getting this for personal use or for gifting.
