Very nice quality. The only problem was that the screws that came with it to clamp down were too short, so I had to make a slight modification to the holddown plate but other than that, they work perfect perfectly.

Latches arrived quickly. They are nice latches with SS hardware. The internals are zinc coated metal so they may not be the best for saltwater. I replaced broken plastic slam latches and the fit fine and installation was easy. For the price they are good latches and I'm moving my boat to a lake so no saltwater worries.

Almost returned these latches, not because of quality, but because they did fit the 2” hole. They would not tighten down. Tried numerous things to make them stop spinning in the hole. These were replacing similar plastic latches one of which had broken. The panel or door was exactly 1/2”. It didn’t mater what configuration we used in the supplied parts, the outcome was the same. Finally, my wife took some felt and made a gasket to fit behind the top back plate. And that worked. I would not buy these again nor would I recommend their purchase.

Looks like a nice part. Nice polish. Movement is smooth. Fit was perfect. Good value. Was nice as I needed 2 of the same size. Easy install

Screws (stainless) that come with with both units are too short. I had to use the stainless screws from the units I replaced which were a bit too long so I cut a quarter inch off old screws and they worked perfectly

So much higher quality than the plastic ones, for the price, much better quality as well

Replaced a broken plastic latch on my swim platform with this slam latch. All parts seem to be of good quality and installation was very quick and easy. Works a lot better and easier to adjust than the original latch. Very happy with this purchase!

Excellent quality product exactly as described

They work but not high quality stainless - started rusting soon after salt water touched them.

Used them on our boat. Replaced the plastic damaged originals. Perfect fit and as described. Made from metal and are very durable.
