Love It!!!
Why did I wait so long to buy this?! I am obsessed with my binding machine!!!! I probably should have bought the one that doesn't have the little electric part on top because I have never bothered to use it. I adjusted the margin for my booklets a little, and I am happier with that. I had to adjust the top and bottom margin a bit with the paper guide (this will make more sense if you actually have the machine in front of you). Initially, my papers and covers had a half hole at the bottom. Adjusting this fixed the issue. The only other issue I've had is that I bought some thick, leather-looking plastic covers. The first several books I made with them, I had trouble getting the bottom five or six holes to punch completely--even punching one cover at a time. Since then, I have accidentally positioned my hands on the handle differently, and everything punched fine!!! Like. . . I punched all the rest of the pack of 50 when I was having a good day because I'd had so much trouble in the past. No problems. The trick is to put more weight on the left-hand side of the handle.

A Homeschool Must Have
I’m A Homeschool Mom. The Binding Machine Is A Must In Our Homeschool Room. Ease of use, the appearance is as pictured, is a heavy item but movable. I will recommend. Freash out the box with no set up needed. A be printing anything out, just to have a reason to Bind!

Horrible
Broke on 3rd use. Used less paper than recommended. It's now stuck upright and won't work at all. Horrible. Not worth the money spent. No contact for customer service. Absolute nightmare.

a solid 4.5 stars ... great, but with room for improvement
so I can't actually give it 4.5 stars, but I would if I could. ==BUILD== this thing is heavy and you can feel how sturdy it is when you go to move it. I love the punch and how smooth it feels. it's obviously based on your own strength, but the arm swings cleanly and I never feel like my arm is going to break trying to use it. ==USE== I've been using it for school resources. a lot of content is available online, but sometimes, I just really like to have paper I can look at. I print some content, then bind it in a section I can take with me places. that part has been fantastic. ==IMPROVEMENT== if I could make some tweaks to this machine, they would be pretty minor--thus the 0.5 star deduction. first, I'd really like the roller on top to be adjustable speed. it won't grip, it won't grip,...it gripped! and now the coil is halfway off the other end. I'd like to able to slow that sucker down a bit. it also doesn't always do all the pages if your coil is nearly full. I had to manually fix almost the whole length of one binding I did because it missed 3 pages. if it went a little slower, I think I could've kept up with it and pressed it down flatter so it would all be included. also, I have a hard time adjusting the side margin. the pull bar seems to want to be all or nothing. it's kind of annoying. I wanted to be able to play with it, but I couldn't get it to be consistent, so I just pushed it all the way back in. finally, I REALLY want something to hold down the punch lever. spring-loaded scissors have a little clip to keep them closed. can we pretty please get a little clip to hold down the lever for storage? == OVERALL == basically, this is a solid machine. I look forward to Christmastime because I'm going to make my family custom calendars (shh!! don't tell them!). I don't foresee any issues with this machine and I think it's good value.

easy to use
LOVE IT!!!! I wish I would've bought it sooner. I usually take my things to Office Depot to get bound, now I don't have to. It's quick and easy to use. We homeschool and now I can get my booklets done quicker.

What happened to my instructions?
Would have been nice to have instructions included and the paper guide piece to be taped to the machine or screwed in but instead it was floating all around the busted up box. Thankfully it did not fall out with the instructions. Machine works great and love the electric binder roller but I'm salty about no instructions, had to use my Ph.D and head back to YouTube, hence the 3 stars. Yes, it's a little heavy and but does what I need for the money spent. The box of coils is a plus!!!!
