It doesn't look like the picture, you are right, but it turned out better since it has 7 USB ports, not the 5 in the specs or pictures. 4 of them turned out to be USB 3.0 but not colored BLUE like they were supposed to be. When I looked more closely they have an SS marked on them - the marking for the Super Speed 3.0. Two in the back and the two in the front are 3.0. Look for the SS. Interesting that people complain about it being noisy. I can't hear when it is on at all. Whisper quiet. Good machine so far (6 months).

Fan is excessively noisy. Probably would not buy again despite the speed and usability.
The computer runs ok but the fan is so loud that it's hard to concentrate when using it. I replaced the fan after about 6 months of use and the new one also became noisy and seems to constantly run.

2 mos old - Hardware failure, no warranty
This computer worked wonderfully for our office needs for two months - and then it had a hardware failure. It will not boot up, and no one can fix it locally since it's a hardware and not a software issue. I can't return this, and HP won't help because it says the warranty is expired.

Lots of memory
Good computer but the dvd is portable and no in the unit and the connection cord is so short that it barely connects to the usb. Dumb idea and not enough usb ports (4)

The product was working fine until it randomly starting beeping and would not turn on. Tech support has not helped solve the problem. I keep getting redirected. I want a replacement or a refund. I've only had this desktop for about a month.

Excellent product but buy a multi usb port to go with it...they forgot the necessity of multiple ports.
Dandy machine. My only regret is that it only has one USB port so you have to plug a multi USB port into that one port. What were they thinking? Get a woman on that engineering team ASAP and then keep up the good work!!!

Beware
The front of the computer is not as pictured. There is only on USB port. The other port would be like one you would use for your phone. My previous computers had 8 USB ports, this one has only 5 normal USB ports. This becomes a problem for me as I have a port for the keyboard, a port for the mouse, a port for the printer, a port for the scanner, and a port for a stick disk for backups. That leaves no port for speakers, since this computer comes without speakers. I have attached a photo of both the front and the back of the computer.
