Can these be cut on a table saw?

Yes, depending on the blade type. The rule of thumb for 1.25" thick fire bricks is: Hard Fire bricks are generally rated over >2300*f, often they need to use a masonry or tile saw as they're dense and usually weigh a lot more than soft insulating fire bricks. Hard fire bricks act like a heatsink, and are immune to flux if the user is using them as their forge floor. Soft Fire bricks, especially ceramic fire bricks, which generally are not dense, generally have a <2300*f rating, and you can easily cut or shape them without a masonry cutting wheel or tile saw, you can file them, and some can be easily hand broken. I use both types in my forges, I coat hard and soft firebricks with Plistix 900, with soft firebricks like this one, Plistix 900 helps them when exposed to flux, and helps turn a hard firebrick become a better insulator & heatsink. My backup vortex forge uses hard firebricks for the floor, and these and hybrid pizza stone as walls, with a very thick coat of Plistix and ITC-100 (pizza stones are not the best material, but with Plistix or ITC coating, they work well)

Feels incredibly light, but can withstand the blowtorch

Purchased a ton of these for my fireplace. It was not my first choice, but after visiting 3 separate box stores that said they had over 300+ bricks, and yet all three couldn’t find a single one, I arrived at Amazon.I was extremely hesitant at first, because they are extremely light. They almost feel like foamy particle board. In order to validate my disbelief, I vehemently submitted one to my blowtorch. 10 minutes of constant heat with MAP gas, and they held up just fine. I was able to easily cut them with my miter saw, next time I will probably use my hand saw to do it.Overall would recommend this product. It has been in my fireplace for several months now, and are holding up great

Very easy to install

My wood burner is 20 years old. The fire bricks finally started falling apart. I dreaded replacing them. The hard part was vacuuming out the firebox. The new ones went in easily and without fuss. I highly HIGHLY recommend getting Rudlund's cement to coat and secure the fire brick after the install. Makes all the difference.

Good bricks

So far it they seem to work well it’s too soon to really give an honest answer. What I can say is they were packaged well. They are very easy to cut to the shape you need.
